Nitro dammit! Gary Cherone was the lead singer for Extreme. I’d say the Vinnie Vincent Invasion had some crazy hair during the release of their debut album

Chris Jericho says the first time he saw Mötley Crüe on an album, he thought, “Those poor flat chested girls...”

Skid Row were certainly rocking some magnificent manes to go with their power balladry and later sick metal riffery.

Not sure how "outrageous" it was but I always thought Vixen had some great hair.

Not sure how "outrageous" it was but I always thought Vixen had some great hair. Mmmm, women's hair was so beautiful back in the 80's! Er, anyway, I'd like to nominate Dee Snider and Twisted Sister. Despite the curls upon curls, Dee manages to keep it pretty nice looking, all things considered.

Even as a proud Aqua Netter (remember that forum group?), I would say there were so many ridiculous hair styles back then. I was glad that by 1990 they cut back on the hair spray somewhat, even before Nirvana upended the music business.

I know. It was a joke that didn't get over. Ask anyone around here - I don't get jokes.
