And it’s also interesting to see some kind of observation that Lesnar apparently prefers working with the smaller talents, to the point of actually liking doing so and putting in actual effort. And, honestly, it’s not exactly unfounded based on the history of this second run. He had a great match with Punk a few years back, and the two Champion v Champion matches with Styles and Bryan ended up being awesome too. The only duds he’s had with smaller guys have been with Kingston at Beast In The East (a squash, mostly down to their relative card positions more than anything), the first match with Rollins at Battleground 2015 (another squash against Rollins’s uber-cowardly heel character at the time) and the WrestleMania 32 match with Ambrose. Well his best matches were with Kurt Angle and was besties with Shelton, so there may be truth in that.

They don’t care about looking legit. If they did, Ronda Rousey wouldn’t even take a move lol. Well.. You have to also make feuds thats will draw. Strowman (if we wasn't ruined booking wise) should have been the big draw with Lesnar. You need believable, legit feuds for Lesnar for a feud to draw. Bryan's striking ability for instance helps with his kicks. Balor doesn't have the convincing offensive moves like Bryan does. There has to be an aura of believablity incorporated into your world title feuds IMO. Its not BELIEVABLE to make anyone think little Balor who was overtowered by Vince McMahon placed any realistic, believable drawing threat to Lesnar. While everyone knows its a show, you still have to be able to suspend disbelief IMO to make it draw. Maybe if Balor had the striking ability of a Bryan that would be one thing. I fail to see how Bryan hitting a Busaiku Knee is believable but Balor hitting a shotgun dropkick isn’t? Balor absolutely has the speed and offence to believably take it to Lesnar. By no means should he dominate the match, really it should be like Lesnar/Bryan where Brock took 75% of the match, but when Bryan was winning they were believable nearfalls.

I think the match with Finn will be good if Brock has his working shoes on. Brock made Bryan/AJ look like they had a fighting chance, I figure (and hope) that would be the same this time around.
As for Braun, I feel bad for him as the guy was red hot last year before the heel turn.

Not surprising at all that Brock likes working with smaller guys way way more. They're like the only matches he has where he looks like he's actually having fun.
And that's not even mentioning the fact that Braun is the only dude that Lesnar's just started outright wailing on out of pure frustration several times. The next time they have a match I think Brock's just gonna straight up bring a gun to ringside for the moment Braun f***s up a headlock.

Why does it have to be believable when everyone knows it’s fake? Balor is a former World Champion and one of the most over guys on the roster. Kids don’t care if it’s believable as long as it looks cool... and adults know it’s fake anyway.

I just have a very difficult time getting too wrapped up in the "Would this happen in real life?" stuff. Ronda and Brock would most likely waste Becky and Finn in a real life fight, sure, but that's not going to stop me from marking if Becky and Finn beat them.

To be fair it's Vince. Braun might be a bear but Vince is the crazy honey badger that bites his nose off if he looks at him cross.

He should have towered over the old man menacingly, handed him the door, looked at him angrily and said in an intimidating tone "...My bad..." and walked away.

Here's what PWInsider had last night: So all indications are that Brock is winning. And that the door is open to doing Brock/Braun at WM instead. Sweet cream on an ice cream sandwich, what the hell is wrong with these people.

Austin took no shit from Vince. That’s why he was so popular. Seeing Stephanie lay into someone like Reigns and have him just take it does him no favors. And it’s not just Roman. EVERYONE looks like a bitch when this sort of thing happens.

I'm pretty worried Braun is going to win the Rumble because I've been anticipating Seth going onto Wrestlemania for the title for a long time now Since Mozenrath suggested the Weeniemobile match, and I'll be at WM, I need that match to happen. Polite destruction Braun, is the funniest. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Yea, go back to the Rumble when Braun was green as f*** and Lesnar had to legit take him off his feet because he wouldn't drop
But yeah, I have no problem with this matchup. They are trying to protect Strowman long term, Finn gets a profiled match, and Lesnar is motivated so all things considered this seems like a win-win

I want to know what’s his problem with larger than normal automobiles. He regularly destroys them. Like, we’re going to find out his grandpa was hit by a greyhound bus. Braun vs. Bigfoot. Monster Truck Tug of War. WrestleMania. Even though it was already done about 35 years ago.
