Was there a Mr Mom tv series or not, I vaguely think there was, but I am not sure. I swear I remember that there was a Mr. Mom in the 80's, but I can't find any trace of it. (Mandela effect?) That's one you'd think would really work on TV... maybe there was a knock-off that had the same concept/basic outline?

Spider-Man is much better suited to a tv series than a movie given the amount of supporting characters, his huge rogue gallery and the number of stories that could be good about him. I always thought about that with Fantastic 4. I think they should ditch trying to make movies, all 3 have failed. Make a series and have that be a big tent pole for the Disney streaming service.

They should skip the movie and do MotU series instead , go deeper into MotU lore than a movie could

How would a Home Alone tv show work? Robbers getting the shit beat out of them every week?
And Blazing Saddles was supposed to get a tv series, but there was no way in hell that was happening, even with some of the other shows on at the time.
Don Johnson was Nash Bridges in the 90s, he couldn't play in a Scent of a Woman show. Speaking of Nash Bridges, am I crazy or was Stone Cold's Jake Cage character supposed to get a spinoff?

A few episodes of a Blazing Saddles tv show was shot, but they never aired. IIRC a episode is on the Blu Ray of Blazing Saddles.

History of the World: Part 1
In this day and age could have made for an excellent series on HBO/Netflix/etc. The standard format would be the same as the movie, just having more overall time to lampoon a bunch of new periods of history.
Hell i guess Drunk History is about 60% already there. I love that show.
And a Conan the *insert awesome word here* series seems like a slam dunk. There's shitpiles of source material... although now that I think about it I think there was a cartoon.

I assume the Home Alone series would be the everyday antics of the McAllisters. Maybe Kevin using his traps on schoolyard bullies, aggressive neighbours etc.

I literally googled Ferris Bueller ro make sure I wasn't in some Mandela effect world where it was now Butler. Since that's not even the first time I have seen it recently.
On topic, any good slasher could make a good series. Saw, or Conjuring universe's could further expand.

So anyone on board with my Desperately Seeking Susan idea, or without Madonna, it just wouldn't work?

I know there was a cartoon, but I'm surprised there was never a live action Police Academy series. The last few movies in the series looked like they were shot on a TV budget anyway.
