That period for Daniel Bryan is the most over I think I’ve seen anyone in the 30+ years I’ve been watching wrestling. For awhile Tye Dillinger was creeping up on DB with "10!" until he was buried into obscurity.

There are almost no wrestlers as over as Bryan was at that time in WWE history. There is no shame losing this one.

Sorry for my screenname, lol, it honestly is just a reference to my WoW main character, a Troll Rogue. No relation to my troll rogue status on FAN Net No, I was being serious. When a guy literally interrupts every match with "10!" chants for every pinfall attempt, every rope count by the ref, every outside-the-ring count by the ref, and literally WILLS himself to be #10 in the Royal Rumble (aka a 'Mania title shot) he can be on Daniel Bryan's overness level IMHO

Once the match starts, people don't care. Bryan is different. If Bryan was just a chant, after Big Show adopted the "Yes" chant, and he joined the Wyatts for two weeks, he would have been done.

I don’t remember Daniel Bryan being over when he was 13 or 14 years old. Revisionist history, man...

Daniel Bryan, easily..... but that doesn't mean I don't love with Becky is doing. She is my favorite thing in WWE right now.

Honeslt a hard question. As said,I don`t think becky reached the peak she could have if they went with her as they did with the Bryan run.

Pretty much,it is WWE job to capitalize once a wrestler gets over. Tye was Over(maybe not as the chant) but he was.Would he have been as big as Bryan?I doubt, but I dont think he would have been a nobody as he is now had WWE pushed him.

Like I said I'd say current Becky is 2012 Punk, which is really f***ing over (most over in the company). The Yes! Movement was just Attitude level shit. Could Becky end up reaching that level someday? She's so entertaining and such a likable person, so who knows. Either way, it's really cool to see a woman this popular.

Let's not ignore the crowds chanting '10!' as enthusiastically as 'YES!'-chants in both NXT and WWE main as much as they had for DB when Tye wasn't even in the building to receive those chants-- how can you not put him on DB's level, POTENTIALLY I'll let this speak for itself as far as how much WWE dropped the ball on the 10 gimmick www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJBIqUoQbDE

I don't know if arena pops always tell the full story.
Daniel Bryan may have got pops near Austin levels but he was nowhere near the big mainstream crossover star Austin was.
I remember there was a brief period in the late 90s where you couldn't go anywhere without seeing Austin merch.
