so they'd be quitting for a feud based on a meme? I make all my life decisions based on memes. Yesterday, I slipped into a giant pop tart and orbited the Earth while singing a catchy tune. Holy crap, you too? You must come aboard my Pop Tart Cruiser.I use it to sail around the galaxy while listening to "Moonlight Feels Right" by the band Starbuck

I hope they do leave.
They're one of the most naturally gifted tag teams in modern wrestling and they deserve to work for a company that's willing to showcase them seriously. Tag team wrestling hasn't felt important on the main WWE roster in ages, and so long as Vince is steering the ship, it probably won't.
If everything works out with AEW, they'll have both the platform and the pay they deserve.

Imagine the closing of the first AEW TV show, Cody and the Bucks are celebrating in the ring when the Revival hits the ring and takes them all out as Cornette walks up the aisle. They'd be the biggest heels in wrestling

AEW could definitely use them better than WWE right now, at least until Vince finally either retires or croaks.

If they leave it鈥檚 going to be fun watching all the people who talk about how much they suck the past 2 years pretend like they鈥檙e amazing stars all of a sudden. The Revival were my favorite act in the entire business for a while. Hopefully wherever they are, they thrive. I'll still think suck regardless of where they go. I'm quite hoping they'll jump to AEW as I won't need to skip their segments (when they do appear) anymore. Anyhoo. AEW is being built up too much in the minds of some, but probably too easily dismissed by some too. We don't know what it will be yet and I don't think the Codybucks know entirely yet either because plans on paper are rarely like that in execution when there are so many variables.

They are a new company, backed by a millionaire, booked by smart wrestlers and if it gets a TV deal it will be a viable work place alternative for under utilised WWE guys. Kind of what TNA was before Russo, Bischoff, and Hogan fleezed Dixie out of all her money

Kind of what TNA was before Russo, Bischoff, and Hogan fleezed Dixie out of all her money Oh totally and that's all in their favour, but this is wrestling. New entertainment ventures of any kind are tricky and fraught with intangibles. Wrestling is full of even more. It will be a viable place to work for sure but we don't know the level it will be at yet. That's not a knock or an endorsement, it's just fact that at the moment they have a core, but nothing around it. As you say, they're smart, so they probably aren't crossing bridges before they come to them and are fully aware that there are tons of things to get in place yet. As I say it's likely not the magical WWE rival some are hoping just yet, but nor is it worth of dismissal which I've seen too.

Outside of Tye Dillinger, these two are easily my most obvious "Well, of course" picks to just to AEW anyway.
I don't really think they'd be burning much of a bridge anyway.

Meltzer did confirm on Observer Radio that they did in fact ask for their release after their match on Monday which was not granted. He later added that some talent in the company felt that they would have been better off just laying low and waiting for their contract to expire.

I, for one, am looking forward to The Revival vs The Young Bucks at Double or Nothing.

So now they get to be even bigger losers until their contracts run out?

They should write AEW in the air Bret style after a match.

It鈥檚 why they really do need to get Corny in, not to run the company but as both the lead heel on TV and an advisor off of it. Listen to the last 20 or so minutes of the JC Experience from Janurary 10th (episode 266), I think his input on the business and TV production side of things would be pretty invaluable. Just don鈥檛 give him the book, obviously

I still think Bald Revival could be a star and should set out on his own, but Fat Revival does nothing for me.

WWE.com has them up as Stars to Watch For in their latest gallery.
An intern鈥檚 wishful thinking.
