Pats O-Line has been fantastic, and the slower Gronkowski has turned into more of a blocking TE and he;s damn good at it. For whatever reason the Patriots RB's aren't getting any love. James White has over 1200 scrimmage yards and 12 TDs this season and Sony Michel in 13 games had just under 1,000 yards and 6 TDs, plus he's been nails in the playoffs so far.
The Rams got run over all year, they allowed 5.1 yards a carry and probably would have been dead last against the run if they didn't have such a great offense that forced teams to be one dimensional.
I guess my question would be is LA going to have success doing what the Chargers and Chiefs couldn't do ? and keep the ball away from the Patriots offense

The Rams have solid pass rush, but their run defense and secondary are both very suspect.

As a Saints fan and as a man who’s wife is from Massachusetts (and I don’t want my life insurance policy cashed in), I hope the Patriots whip that ass.

It's that time of year again for the annual "Nature Boy" Tom Brady promo. RIP to Mean Gene, who conducted the original interview with Flair circa late 1993.
"You know, there's times in my life, when I want to CRY. Because people don't BELIEVE. 18 years ago, Mo Lewis hit Drew Bledsoe so hard he started bleeding internally. Our team put in pick number 199 from the last year's draft, and he went on to become the World's champion five times. Respect, for that, knows Aaron Donald. A 300 pound, AWESOME, PHYSICAL SPECIMEN, THE GREATEST ATHLETE IN OUR SPORT!
"WELL THAT'S GREAT. I'm just broke down. I've got nowhere to go. I'm old and lonesome Tom Brady. You want to know why I compare myself to Montana? Because my nine year old boy says "Daddy, you're the greatest". WELL, THAT'S ALL I NEED. I DON'T NEED YOU TO LOVE ME, RESPECT ME, EVEN KNOW WHERE I LIVE, or what I'm about. But there's 100 million football fans out there that have seen ME BLEED, SWEAT, AND PAY THE PRICE. ALL FOR ONE WORD, AND THAT WORD WAS, IS, AND WILL BE RESPECT, IN BEING WHAT YOU ARE!
And everyday of my life, all I've ever wanted to be, is the BEST. So Super Bowl... It was me and Matt Ryan. It was me and Manning. It was me and Wilson. It was me and Warner. It was me and McNabb. The common denominator, in all of those great games, was ME. So Donald, yeah, I'm emotional. California is my home state brother. But we're talkin about the WORLD TITLE. We're talking about what I've LIVED, BREATHED, AND WANTED TO BE FROM DAY ONE, AND THAT'S THE BEST. So at the Super Bowl, I'll walk that aisle, I'll style, and I'll profile. And with tears in my eyes, if you want me, you're going to have to take it baby. WOOOOOOO!"

Brady's greatness can't be denied, but it's like rooting for Cobra Kai.

I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN tries to make a serious offer since their own "let's get a former well-regarded, but untested member of the Cowboys" experiment with Jason Witten failed miserably. Granted, Witten is also surrounded by absolute garbage. The MNF commentary team just hasn't been the same since Mike Tirico left for NBC.

The Patriots will probably win again but I’m hoping the Rams pull off the upset. It was nice to see the Eagles beat them last year. The Patriots are like Hulk Hogan in the 80s. Even when they’re down they make that big comeback at the end and win it all. I got tired of seeing Hogan do it over and over and the Patriots have become tiring too. Definitely cheering the underdog here.

I'm a Louisiana native. After what happened to the Saints, I can't root against New England this year.

At times they look completely beatable (losing to the Steelers and Miami this year) but when everything is on the line they usually escape by the skin of their teeth. Add in their reputation to many fans as being a bit dirty and boom. Brady is obviously Flair, Gronk is Arn, Edelman is Windham and Hogan is Paul Roma. Throw in Bill as J.J. Dillon and it’s basically a carbon copy.

I remember the first Super Bowl the Patriots were in and the Patriots strategy was run the ball and play for field position. There was even discussion on if Tom Brady would even start because he was injured in the AFC Championship game and Drew Bledsoe came in a did a terrific job. How times have changed.

I think the Patriots strategy entering their first ever Super Bowl was to make sure the Bears looked strong. How much time changes in 33 years

I am expecting a very close and tight game. As a Patriots fan I am not going to say for sure that they'll win. Realistically there have been three Super Bowls that they should've won and didn't. Even if they lose I won't be upset with the Rams winning it. At least the NFL has a way of surprising us with different teams winning the trophy.
But I do want Brady to win his sixth ring.

36 started the dynasty, 53 ends it (In my head).
Rooting against the Pats for the third straight year.

Flip side, the Patriots could have lost every Super Bowl. Some last minute scores and the other team shitting the bed gave them their wins.
