SmackDown's last stop this week is in Wichita, Kansas, and they've got a bumper show as their go-home for the Royal Rumble this Sunday in Phoenix!
As if we didn't see enough Mr. McMahon last night on RAW, he's back at it again tonight, as the Chairman of the Board will be moderating a showdown between WWE Champion THE NEW Daniel Bryan and challenger AJ Styles ahead of their meeting this Sunday. Bryan has been laying it on thick about the sins Styles and the WWE Universe commit on a daily basis, and this led Styles to brawl with Bryan last week. However, Styles should be careful considering it wasn't that long ago that he popped Mr. McMahon in the mouth...
Speaking of McMahons, Shane will be in the corner of his new Bestie tonight, as The Miz looks for a sweep of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions - he defeated Sheamus in last week's main event, and now The Awesome One looks to clean out The Bar by taking on Cesaro. Will the co-owners of the World Cup confirm their credentials, or will The Bar put them in their place before their title match on Sunday?
Last week saw Andrade lose part of his name, but win one of the biggest matches of his career against Rey Mysterio in the clubhouse leader for TV match of the year. They go at it again tonight, but this time in a 2 out of 3 falls match, which is in both of their wheelhouses. Can Mysterio overcome Andrade having the crafty Zelina Vega in his corner to get revenge over the former NXT Champion?
Mandy Rose has tried to use her womanly charms to drive a wedge into the marriage of Naomi and Jimmy Uso, going as far as to lure Jimmy into her hotel room to try and fix an affair, only for Naomi to be in on it. Tonight, Naomi finally gets her hands on Rose in the ring, but Rose does have the trump card of having Sonya Deville at ringside. Will Rose score the biggest win of her career so far, or will Naomi prove her bond is stronger than ever?
WWE did advertise a match between Mustafa Ali and Samoa Joe for tonight, but that's been taken off the preview for the show. Last week, the two were scheduled to square off, only for Joe to attack Ali before the match, leaving the high-flyer unable to continue. Will Ali have a response for the Samoan Submission Machine, with both of them entering the Men's Royal Rumble this Sunday?
We'll also likely have further hype for the SmackDown Women's Title match between The Empress Asuka and The Man Becky Lynch, and the US Title showdown between Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura - and will there be any further surprises for the two Royal Rumble matches? Find out tonight from 8/7c on USA!
Then after that, head to the WWE Network at 10/9c for 205 Live - this week, Buddy Murphy's three challengers at the Royal Rumble square off in a Triple Threat Match, as Kalisto faces the double Japanese challenge of Akira Tozawa and Hideo Itami!
