There's been years where people win an Oscar and a Razzy the same awards season. For different movies of course, but it's not unheard of. Halle Berry for Monster's Ball and Catwoman, I believe. Showed up at both events to accept, too. And Sandra Bullock for All About Steve (Razzie) and The Blind Side (Oscar).

Yes. And yet again they proved that The Razzies are now a circle-jerk to pick winners based on pop-culture. Seriously people winning awards for being in a fake documentary (meaning they didn't act at all), so freaking stupid. Yeah, just like how Britney Spears got to be their worst actress. Though to be fair, she was acting in the sense that she said what she said only to avoid the Dixie Chicks' fate.

Sandra Bullock did win both in the same weekend. You're right, Monster's Ball was a few years prior. I was confused because she showed up to the Razzies WITH her Oscar from that film.

I'm genuinely shocked (but happy) Lady Gaga didn't win. I honestly thought that was a easy pick.

Dear the rest of the World. Here is one of the best actresses in the world who had remained under the radar for quite a while. Hopefully now you’ll realise what us Brits have been lucky enough to experience for two decades now.... Olivia Colman is f***ing amazing.

La Bamba and the Buddy Holly Story say hi In recent times. Were those nominated? And What's Love Got to do with It. In recent times? Both Ray and Walk the Line are over 14 years old. That's a hell of a lead time for any sort of boom that Rhapsody could be riding that couldn't just as easily be attributed to the string of music biopics that littered the decades before. Bussey was nominated for Best Actor in 1978 for the Buddy Holly Story. Fishburne was nominated for What's Love. Bassett for best actress too. Jessica Lange as Patsy Cline in Sweet Dreams was nominated for best actress. Some others.

Dude lip-synced really well and won an Oscar for it. Legend. He did an amazing job as Freddie and his rendition of Live Aid was very emotional. He looked and moved exactly like Freddie. I wouldn't have minded if Cooper won but Rami deserved it too.

If you haven’t watched it yet, go watch Broadchurch. The first series only. It might be Olivia Colman’s best performance in a whole career of great performances.

Eddie Marsan is another great actor who goes under the radar, Peter Mullan is always good and Paddy Considine is a fine director too.
