Or could be one of those things where she didn't apologize after it happened and a little gap in time was there before she did
Just reads weird like ohh I fell into a deep depression but you don't speak on how you reached out to Liv. I find this quote weird.
"I made a mistake and she's not badly injured and you know what, this is our business, this is what we all signed up for. Everyone's going to see backstage even how Liv and I were with each other. Out in the WWE ring, we have to play so much, bad guy, good guy, don't talk to your competitors, but backstage you'll see that we're all really close and it affects us. We never want to go out there and hurt each other, so when it happens it's emotional"
Makes it seem like Liv or the Riot Squad in general was pissed but eventually cooler heads prevailed
Exactly. Im sure the two made up and apologized but the way she worded it made it seem like there was still a bit of tension. That line you posted was what got me a bit confused and weirded out Yea, seems like it could been a little bad blood as expected when you injure someone
Brie would been mad at Liv as a Vet for going too fast like she did. Kind of makes me think of other examples like with Andre and Warrior and how Andre didn't like that Warrior was moving too fast and too rough

Brie’s line about wrestling for 12 years and making a mistake is ridiculous. There are people who can’t drive, somehow gets licenses, and then consistently put other drivers in danger. That doesn’t mean we have to sympathize with the bad driver when they hurt someone.
I’m not endorsing attacking someone but for her to be surprised by the criticism when she’s been consistently bad is pretty tone deaf. That seems like the go to excuse now. Nia will be next.

I'm sure the whole incident wouldn't have gone over so poorly with people if it hadn't happened right around the same time that she fell flat on her face trying a suicide dive. And, if I'm remembering correctly, didn't she also legit punch Miz in the face? She also clocked Ruby Riott hard in the face in a tag match (I think it was the same match as the botched dive)

I made a mistake and she's not badly injured. Well that's a f***ing lie.

Accidents happen but she was reckless in that moment.
Having said that, I’m the type of guy who marks for Japanese Strong Style, stiff shots and head drops.
So I’m not gonna be a hypocrite here and be like “‘Man, Vader and Kobashi were awesome. But Brie? That’s no place for those stiff shots in my wrestling!”

I think if the concussion of Liv was a one off and a complete accident, this wouldn’t be as much of an issue. But because in the weeks leading up to it, Brie was proving to us that she is an unsafe worker, the reaction was what it was.
Brie coming out making statements like these ones certainly don’t help her cause.

Mistakes happen in the ring and people get hurt, that's pro wrestling. It sucks that it happened, but luckily Liv is fine now.
What's bullshit is Brie playing the victim. I know it's mostly for Total Bellas, but still.
The haters and trolls are always going to exist, ignore them.
Apologize to Liv and move on. The drama and pity party Brie throws for herself isn't needed.

"I gave a fellow worker a concussion because of my sloppy ring work, but instead of owning up and apologizing, I'm gonna make it all about me on my reality show."

They were a least attempting to learn how to wrestle plus they have documented matches on wwe TV. I truthfully don’t know what I’ll never understand more. People’s hatred for Stephanie that goes beyond her TV character, people’s hatred for the Bellas (critiquing is one thing obviously) or people that hate watch Raw just to crap all over everything. It’s their opinion, and have every right to do so, but it’s just something I’ll never truly understand or wrap my head around.

Keep in mind that this is the Internet and not everyone is quite as level headed as the members of this forum. I bet she received some disgusting shit on social media.

I was referring to the fact that the Bellas have both stopped wrestling multiple times(for different reasons), meaning that, while they may've started wrestling 11, 12 years ago, they haven't actually wrestled for 12 years...hell, not even a decade.

I do have some sympathy for her as a human being having to deal with the more extreme flak for all that.
But it's pretty distasteful having this positioned and talked about as a "Watch the show and see me all sad and stuff!" advertisement.
This kind of surface-level only-real-when-it's-on-tv Instagram likes kind of deal is what got the Bellas (and many celebs) so much stick in the first place.
Even when it's genuine, it feels fake and forced and exaggerated for the sake of views.

Not to mention that Brie hasn't been wrestling for 12 years. Technicalities aside due to breaks from the ring, the Bellas debuted in FCW back in 2007 and debuted on the main roster in 2008. Effectively, they've been a WWE commodity for over a decade.
