Didn't know Sam Shaw signed. His Dexter/Stalker gimmick had legs before they made him a crazed maniac who lives with his mother Trevor Lee, get that man a new set of trousers and a proper gimmick and he will be good

Oh hey rad, 3.0. Not quite home town boys but very cool to see guys from the eastern Canada scene moving forward, especialyl with so many standout talents ending up barred from the US for a few years

Shit that’s a lot of talent.
-Sam Shaw never lit the world on fire in-ring in Impact, but his Dexter-esque gimmick before they made it a joke was really really interesting. -Trevor Lee is a hell of s talent with a terrible look. People tell me he’s got a lot of character in the non-Impact feds he’s in, so that should be good. -I’ve never been a huge ACH guy, but I’m open to seeing what he can do in NXT. Something about him just hasn’t connected with me yet. -Rachel Ellering was inevitable, but a great signing still. She comes off super likable and someone the fans could really get behind. -Karen Q is a good hand and had a really fun match with Xia Li in this year’s Mae Young Classic. She and Deonna Purrazzo are best friends, so that could be another team for the future tag division. -I’m not super familiar with 3.0, but I always hear good things about their charisma. I’m always on-board with more tag teams.

I wasn't there for the whole angle, but what I saw of Sam Shaw: Serial Killer with Mommy Issues was gold.

3.0....this actually depresses me. They're gonna script those guys to death, and they're SO GOOD.

San Shaw's acting chops are decent (by pro wrestling standards) if he's spent his time since impact working on getting better in ring I think we could have a sleeper hit, someone like Elias who surprises us by getting over with character work.

You can pinpoint the death of that character to that scene where Anderson visited Samuel Shaw’s house. He went from being a guy with a creep vibe who had a nice appartment to an adult man who still lived at home and was in love with his mom. From this: To this:

She was so close to wrestling with WWE full-time, too.

He had vignettes where it showed him in a apartment and he looked like a guy with a plan that gave off the Dexter killer vibe
Then we get the shit with Ken Anderson where he goes to his house and his image is completely dead when the first words out his mouth is "get out of my room" like a f***ing teenager

Oh shit and you know what I completely forgot? The angle where Shaw was in a mental hospital and only one man was trying to help him.... And now they’re both in NXT!

Oh yeah, that whole shit between him and Gunner and they had Gunner help him out because he was in the army or the marines or something like that
Basically he knew how to deal with "crazy" people
By then the Sam Shaw gimmick was dead
