Now we move on to the 1930's, and where we're going to see some tough battles being waged. Particularly this section of the decade, 1930-1932. Vote for your favorite, and, as always, explain your choice (if you like), as well as mention any other movies you might have seen on this list, below.

BTW, The Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde is the Fredric March version. Ah yes, the film which earned him one of his two Best Actor Oscars (the other coming in the 40s for The Best Years Of Our Lives). I voted Dracula but there are so many good picks from this list.

Freaks the second bezt horror movie ever.
Seen a lot of these. Dracula-Lugosi and Frye are the only reason to watch this creaky stagey relic. Dracula Spanish version -Soooooooooo much better than the above. Frankenstein -Even as a kid i wasn't a big fan of this one. Island of lost souls-One of the best pre-68 horror films. The Mummy-Boring! White Zombie-One of lugosi's best films.

Murders in the Rue Morgue is a freaky little picture that I absolutely adore and had to vote for. I understand why Frankenstein is running away with this one, though.

Well, it looks like The Frankenstein Monster zombie walked (Or "Frankenstein walked") his way to the winner's circle. This got my vote as well, as it is a beautiful film (although, I like Bride a bit better). It was definitely the biggest "Gamechanger movie" of the list.
Seconded only by Freaks, which ALLLLMOST got my vote. It is a disturbing little movie that was ahead of its time.
The original Dracula is good, but is a bit more stagy than it would have been, had it been made even a year later (or directed by James Whale). The Spanish version is definitely more visually interesting looking (although it lacks some of the superior actors from the English version).
The Mummy is decent, even though it's basically Dracula with a different villain/monster. Karloff does a great job as the titular character, though.
White Zombie is cool. It has a great visual look to it, and Bela is pretty awesome as the villain.
Well, it's on to 1933-1934, and some other great movies.
