I honestly thought Bryan was about to go off at Vince for that "get in the ring" remark. He started with that baby boomer shoot insult and I could just see him getting pissed off more every second. I thought he was going to snap after the second interruption , but it ended kinda weak. Heres the link from the WWE Channel: youtu.be/sM4GUEwdGYYI was hoping for a great moment where Bryan just rants about Vince being at every show and it not working. Even the crowd was into it. Missed chance.

I honestly thought it was leading to him just snapping and taking out Vince with AJ jumping to Vince's defense.

Off topic, but we just had a segment with a former TNA champion, a former ROH Champion and Vince McMahon about the WWE Championship. Kind of surreal.

I get that you are supposed to not like Bryan because he’s being a condescending dick but I like that he is working serious real life content into his work. Like even if he’s getting booed, he’s putting stuff out there that you wouldn’t ever normally hear on WWE programming. Props to him for using the platform. The rant against Vince/Boomers was great.

I can't believe he got booed for that, I thought it was a pipebomb style face turn. Or at least a face for a day turn.

I'm sure I missed it but was there any sort of fallout from the AJ/Vince segment on the Christmas episode of Smackdown? AJ assaults Vince, nothing is really mentioned again, and suddenly they're pals again standing together in the ring?

The implication was that Vince wanted AJ to hit him to bring out the “real” AJ Styles (i.e. guy who is quick to fight people more).

At the end of that assault, didn't they show Vince making - or trying to make - a smirk at AJ, as if that was his plan to get him fired up all along? And then I think I saw something the next week of Vince and AJ in a room and officials ready for a fight but Vince waved them off; I don't know what that segment ended up being, but I'd guess the "fallout" was just Vince testing AJ, AJ passing, and Vince being better with him as a result. Interesting.

Same reason as there was plenty of America who agreed with what JBL was saying as WWE champion but still boo'd him because he was being a dick about it.

I choose to believe Bryan is basing this character largely on the Eco-terrorists from Portlandia.

Oh, I will say I went nuts for Bryan's promo last night. I've even said stuff like that about the boomer generation in real life, maybe even worse. Bryan should have said "If the WW2 generation was the Greatest Generation then the boomers are the worst generation!"

Bryan should have said "If the WW2 generation was the Greatest Generation then the boomers are the worst generation!" I'm kind of waiting to see if they make him go off on other people who either live or "want to" live his lifestyle, forcing him to call them poseurs or snarking at them for just being followers instead of leading the movement. "You think I'm impressed just because you're vegan? I don't care about you! Stop being so self-centered!" That kind of thing, if WWE may want to spite any fan who agrees with him.

I love that Bryan's heel persona is a better human being than most of their babyfaces.

Would've been cool to see Vince take a running knee (what's Bryan calling it these days?) if they didn't already have AJ lay him out a month ago.

This really should have been the WM feud. Right now I dunno who on earth will challenge for the WWE title at WM. Maybe Rollins wins the Rumble and goes to SD? Balor? There are almost no viable options on SD.

There are almost no viable options on SD. Balor would be nice if he has a nice showing against Brock. He can win the EC match, move to SD and challenge Bryan. Where that leaves AJ, though, I dunno. Undertaker? (vomit)
