Yea, he's def fighting a more advanced can his next fight. If they could drag Ken Shamrock old ass out there they would He said before his fight he wanted Roy Nelson but I don't think he's ready for that. Give him another warm up fight and then give him Big Country
Put him in there with the ultimate MMA jobber to the stars: James Thompson. Yea, that works
He was about to get his dome sent 10 rows up against Kimbo before he died. He fought Lashley f***ing twice and that loss Lashley took is what killed him essentially. Sure, he had that TKO in Strikeforce but you could write that off as learning experience

I always loved Swagger goofy smile. It is wrong I'm more happy to see that than his win?

Swagger needs like four fights against real opponents before he's ready to even come close to fighting Nelson. It's one thing to fight jabronis, it's another one when Roy f***ing Nelson is on the other side trying to kill you. Swagger is 35 years old. He doesn't have time on his side and fighting Roy in his 3rd fight will be a big test to see what he can do because Roy will be swinging to take his head off
If he demolishes an upper level can than it's time for him to go knee deep in the shit because otherwise he's going to be like Lashley. There would be no shame in losing to Big Country but he can't spend 2 years fighting cans at his age
Last night the jobber caught Swagger because he had his guard down while approaching him. Swagger took the punch and kept fighting, but if that was a Big Country punch, Swagger would've been knocked the f*** out. He's not ready for Nelson.

Brock's first opponent was Min-Soo Kim. He was an olympic silver medalist in judo and had kickboxing experience. He wasn't a can by any means. Swagger's opponent looked like they found him in a bar the night before. He was 2-5 when he fought Brock and is 3-7 overall, he might have accomplished things in combat sports outside of MMA but dude wasn’t put in there against Brock for a competitive fight. He was an easy fight for Brock but by no means he was a tomato can like the ones Lashley and Swagger fought. Now Brock's original opponent for his debut? Yoshihiro Takayama, as in the pro wrestler, now that my friend is the ultimate tomato can.

He had no fear of that man power because he was a can
That's why I said Swagger needs an intermediate fight next to see where he stands and then he can go from there
Can Swagger beat Big Country now? I doubt it but with his wrestling he has a shot
Give him another fight and if he beats someone who has experience but past their prime then I have no problem throwing him against Big Country because he has to show what he's worth
Having him continue to fight cans for 3 years and he's approaching 40 is not going to do him well

I never said that he had to fight cans for the rest of his life like his name was Bobby Lashley. I said that he needs better competition and at least a couple of years. Big Country is in the twilight of his career, but even then Swagger will get murked if he is rushed into fighting him. Swagger isn't an elite wrestler by any means, he's not a Brock or Ben Askren, he's decent but not on their level. He may beat Nelson in a year or so, but not right now. Swagger's got against him the fact that he's in his mid thirties and isn't training on an elite fight camp. If he doesn't improve his training then he'll be no better than Lashley, and nowhere near the level to fight Nelson.

He's going have to figure out whether he just wants to fight or if he wants to win and go up the rankings
If he just wants to fight and have no real ambition than yeah he will be fine and can go at his own pace like Lashley before him

If he doesn't join a real gym like right now and just keeps on fighting cans two times a year, then he's just interested in building his brand and return to the wwe.

He still seems to be in contact with Vince and he looked great, ripped and lean in the ring so if he can keep that weight he can go back and be good.
Right now tho he seems to be happy so good for him as everyone seems to be happy for him and supporting him

It helps that him and WWE seems to be in good terms. Honestly besides the Mariajuana Bust has Swagger ever had any heat or backstage issue?

He night have had a DUI in Florida but sadly everyone and their mother had that in FCW
I think the weird thing is everyone expects people to leave WWE under bad terms. For every Punk, there is a Juice Robinson, Jack Swagger etc who just decide to leave and remain neutral and if people do leave under suspect terms like Cody shit gets figured eventually and time heals all
I'm pretty sure Zeb is blowing up his phone tho to come to Impact Wrestling

I expect Bob Sapp to be announced as Swagger's next opponent. I still want Bob Sapp in WWE. I don't care that he'd melt the beaker. I don't care that he sucks at wrestling. I want the huge terrifying comedy muscular galoot to be Brock meets Brodus Clay (Brockdus. The Funkasaurus Incarnate) and I want him to win everything in a Goldust style streak.

He's a good dude and deserves another shot at wrestling, just not at real fighting.
