Oklahoma by far. I turned off Nitro that night and never watched it again. I actually quit watching all together for a few months because of Oklahoma

I love Jim Ross and all, but I have to admit I found when he talked about a wrestler's amateur football background, my thoughts was "who cares?", so when Oklahoma does make fun of that, I do appreciate that, I thought that I was the only one who thought that, though I thought Tony playing off that was more funny than Oklahoma himself. if they would've just parodied JR based on the things he says all the time and stayed away from the Bell's Palsey stuff.... i think it would've been fine (and probably funny).

The Horsemen parody has been blown WAY out of proportion over the years, largely due to Flair's big stink about it in his book. It's WCW's version of the DX Invasion, a minor thing made way more important years after the fact.
Oklahoma was the amongst the most tasteless bullshit in the history of the business, and I still maintain that I will punch Russo and/or Ferrara in the face if ever presented the opportunity.

What you may not remember is...Oklahoma technically debuted in the WWF. It was one of the Tiger Ali Singh skits, where he pulled Ferrara out of the crowd and paid him to imitate JR. He basically does OK, Mk. 1, setting him up to get destroyed by Dr. Death.

Cornette beat you to it with Ferrara, now with Russo that would be harder with the restraining order.

The Horsemen parody would have been better if it hadn't been immediately following Arn's retirement, or if the Horseman had actually gotten revenge for it. Oklahoma....I actually thought was pretty funny except portraying JR's Bell's palsy. It least it was better than this: ![](https://cdn3.whatculture.com/images/2014/02/vince-mcmahon-jim-ross.jpg) Yup, this was my first thought that Vince's JR "impression" was worse to me than Oklahoma. Don't get me wrong Oklahoma was still classless and disgusting.

It boils down to this:
the nWo were heels shitting all over a group they were feuding with at the time
the Oklahoma angle was mocking a person who didn't even work for the company

It seems wrong but to this day I still laugh at the Horseman parody and I was laughing so hard when it aired. Even my mother was laughing at it.
I will say that when it aired I noticed how Bobby the Brain got upset at it. Not acting or in character but legitimately upset. Even though I didn't the story behind the parody that told me something wasn't right.

The two aren't comparable. Oklahoma was stupid and classless. The Horsemen parody was funny. Even by comparison, the DX parody was way worse with multiple wrestlers donning blackface.

Everybody involved with the Horsemen skit thought it was funny, including the Horsemen. It was not until their wives all complained about it did the Horsemen get mad

Oklahoma was terrible and in very bad taste. The horsemen parody I thought was hilarious, and still don't understand why it gets criticism.

The Oklahoma character was nocking a guy for a real life disability and the NWO parody was pretty much the same thing. It wasn't a general anti Horseman promo done entirely in keyfape, it was mocking Arn Anderson's speech after being forced to retire from the ring due to, you know, losing feeling in his limbs thanks to a severe neck injury. You could forgive it if the intent was to lead to some sort of comeuppance, but that didn't happen.

Oklahoma was definitely worse, but I don't want that to disqualify the absolute shitty shit that was the 4 Horsemen 'parody'.
