Triple H vanquishing Randy Orton clean as a whistle at WrestleMania 25. Months of great buildup culminated in a wet fart. I was there live for that. I couldn’t believe how shit the match was and how they thought HHH going over was a good decision. Orton was the hottest he’s ever been going into this match. And they killed it.

As an LOD fan, I feel that having Owen and Jarrett defend against the random team of D'Lo and Test is one. Legion of Doom should have been in the match. Even if they lost, it would have been a good sendoff to have one last high profile match at WrestleMania.
Tatanka beating Shawn Michaels by countout so he doesn't get the title at WrestleMania IX is another.
As a Wyatt Family fan, Rock beating Erick Rowan in six seconds annoyed me quite a bit.
Brock Lesnar squashing Dean Ambrose.

I love how many of these end with "Triple H won"

Wrestlemania 25 was trash besides Taker and Michaels. First Mania I got since X-7.
Another dumb moment was Cena beating Edge and Big Show. Edge was gold as usual, and Big Show was working his ass off for the first time, well...ever. Show should have gotten his Mania moment then, but nope...gotta have Cena win again. Only to lose it at Backlash with Show putting him through the searchlight, which Cena no-sold on Raw.

Bray Wyatt turning the ring into a powerpoint presentation on insects to "get inside Orton's head" only for it to have no effect and Orton just wins anyway.
I don't know if it counts but Brock beating Roman last year to end the show was a huge anti climax too. The crowd shit on it then entire time and then the bad guy (even though the crowd hated Roman too) wins. Awful.

Hogan got a big pop for winning the belt at WM 9. Whatever you think of the booking and Hogan as a politicker that really doesn't fit the question here. Yeah the first time I watched WM IX it was my favorite WrestleMania ever. As a huge Hogan fan it just left me feeling so happy.

Roman VS Triple H as the main event of WrestleMania 32. I don't think anyone wanted that match.

Sting delivering a blowjob to HHH in the center of the ring.
That was when he went from my hero to a guy I couldn't care less if I never saw again.

Mania 33, the whole Taker hat/coat/ gloves thing. In hindsight it was a over the top, manipulative moment that had no authenticity behind it and was only done to give the WWE attention(while also giving Taker the spotlight in defeat for no reason) by exploiting one aspect of the company that still had overwhelmingly goodwill towards it( the Taker character).
I think that has hurt them more than they could have foreseen. Staging a fake “big” event( his retirement) betrayed a lot of people’s emotional investment in the product.

Brodus and His Mama's bridge club. They totally wanted that to be a moment they could reference in future montages for Wrestlemania. I don't think that's ever happened. Brodus Clay sucked. The segment sucked, but I can't hate it too much as it is tied to one of my favorite John Cena stories. For those who don't know, that segment was about to be cut for time and Brodus was real sad because he was going to miss his chance to perform at Wrestlemania. John Cena, who is in the main event just says, "I think I need to go to the bathroom. What do you think, Brodus -- for about 8 or 9 minutes or so?" Brodus picks up the hint and tells Vince McMahon that he can do the segment in less than 8 minutes. Just like that, Cena let someone else have a Wrestlemania moment. While not a great moment, it is a great story.

Shit, if I was one of those dancers, I'd be thrilled that I got paid and didn't have to dance like an idiot with a fat guy while dressed up like an old lady. Win-win.

For something spontaneous rather than a booking decision, Jack Swagger f***ing up unhooking the MitB briefcase at what was supposed to mark his big ascension into a main eventer is really a perfect encapsulation of his pro wrestling career.

It amazes me that this doesn’t get brought up enough. For me, it’s way worse than the Electric Cage match in TNA for example.

Brock beating Taker? Maybe? Considering no one saw it coming and the match kind of sucked it was a whimpered wait-WTF reaction. Would that be considered an anti-WM moment? Would it be a WM moment??

Roman VS Triple H as the main event of WrestleMania 32. I don't think anyone wanted that match. I think it would have been more tolerable if we all hadn't been watching a show that felt like it had been going on all day. I was pretty much burned out once the Andre Battle Royal was over.
