I had a big break from WWE from sometime around late 06/early 07 through to early 2012. Throughout that time I was subscribed to Power Slam magazine, so I was following the backstage stuff but not really the product. I watched TNA through that whole time though. Also, I was at uni for a few of those years, so I didn't have Sky to watch WWE even if I'd wanted to.

2010-2014 is kind of a blur to me in terms of following the current product because those were my college years. I would check TV/PPV results online but that was pretty much it.
I didn't get roped back in until the launch of the WWE Network/WrestleMania 30, which was toward the end of my college tenure anyway.

I was DEVASTATED (I was 14) when Austin turned heel in 2001 and tuned out.
Watching it back now, a lot of it was great. But not at the time ☹️

2002 (after Survivor Series....I felt only either HHH or HBK would always be on top) till I'd say 2010 or so. Mostly watch it in the gym or when my friends watch, but yeah.

Wrestlemania 8 until probably the Screw Job with respect to the WWF, which annoys me in hindsight because I missed the build of SCSA and also the Hart Foundation. I knew at a very high level of what was going on, but I didn't really pay close attention. With WCW it was probably around the Starrcade that was all centered around the Battle Bowl ('92, I think) until when Hogan came in. Even then, I really didn't pay much attention until Hogan went heel. That, overall, got me back into watching wrestling weekly.

Took two breaks from wrestling. First one was late 99-mid 00, not because of the product though(at least for ECW and WWF, WCW ended sooner because the product went to shit). I got my first car and girlfriend, so I was out running around a lot and wrestling wasn't as much of a priority. My second break was caused by the "Reign of Terror" around 2004, once HHH beat RVD in a 10 minute ppv main event I was done. Started watching again in '07/'08, and not just Raw, my older brother got me into TNA and I liked watching ROH on HDNet.
Since then, mostly stopped watching TNA in 2010 except for the "Broken" Matt saga and I ended my WWE Network subscription about a year and a half ago after not watching WWE TV for a while. Now I closely follow New Japan, watch All Japan, MLW, ROH and occasionally some British indies. Once in a while I will check out something from NXT or WWE if it sounds good, but I only watch clips and matches, not full shows.

I took a break from 2002 to 2010. The Kiss My Ass Club, Katie Vick, and HLA turned me off of of WWE. It wasn't the first time that I had taken a break from WWE, but unlike before, I didn't have WCW to fall back on anymore. I would tune in to the occasional episode of CMLL, AAA, or TNA to get my wrestling fix, but the language barrier kept me from getting too invested in the lucha promotions, and the taint of Russo kept me from following TNA on a regular basis. It wasn't until I happened to catch the Nexus beatdown while channel surfing that I got fully hooked back into WWE and wrestling in general again.

Mostly from 96 (after HBK won the title) to 98 (Austin driving the Zamboni to the ring) though I have random memories from 97 (Ahmed Johnson joining The Nation weirdly and wondering why that Austin midcarder from WCW was now bald and a top WWF star).
Mainly because I was starting to get into football around Euro 96 so that took all my focus away. Austin in 98 brought me back. I've been watching pretty much ever since though I barely watched from mid 04 till early 06 due to Uni work. But I did sign up to this forum in late 05 mainly because of Eddie's death and I was missing conversation about wrestling.

Thankfully most of the reign of terror. Now I quit watching after they turned Braun heel, something just broke inside me. I don't think I'll ever watch again.

I drifted off somewere in probably 93 or so, maybe 94. I distinctly remember tuning back in after seeing one of the Saturday morning recap shows where they showed Vader breaking Yokozuna's leg. Just a few months later, I was brought back in full force with the NWO.
I watched religiously until Benoit. I literally have not watched a full Raw or Smackdown since then. I didn't stop watching wrestling, I just turned my attention to the indies, especially ROH and PWG.
These days, I watch a lot of PWG stuff, NJPW, and I am a Highspots subscriber, so I watch a lot of just random shows on there. I keep up with NXT and never miss a Takeover, though I don't keep up with the weekly show as much as I would like.

From the guest host era until the Summer of Punk in 2011 I fell off paying attention besides occasionally reading these boards or going to an event that was near me. I don't watch a ton now either but I keep up with it a lot better than those years.

Around 1991 I stopped altogether. Seemed like kids stuff. I started again in 1995. I started watching RAW again, believe it or not the first PPV I bought getting back into it was the god awful 1995 KOTR and I don’t think I’ve stopped since then. I’m a lot more casual about it he pat 4-5 years

It's hard for me to say. I watched it consistently from April/May of 1998 (When I first started getting into it) up until sometime in spring 2001. I mean I did keep up from time to time when the Invasion angle was starting, but I found other interests that overshadowed wrestling. At that point, I started watching wrestling on occasion. It was like that up until the summer of 2002, when I started watching it again regularly and it lasted until late spring of 2003. From that point on, I only tuned in if nothing else was on. I still remember in spring 2004 and didn't realize that not only Eddie Guerrero was WWE champion, but that Bradshaw had rose to main event status. At that time, I was like "When did this happen?!" It was still an "on occasion" thing until the following year with the hype of Homecoming and I watched it from late 2005 until summer 2007.
I've taken multiple breaks, but I sort of kept up in some areas. I remember that I started watching it regularly again at the start of 2010 when Bret Hart returned.

I never went full stop, been watching since the mid to late 80's, but I diminished greatly during the Super Cena era especially once I realized that even though Edge was popping ratings, and the fans wanted something different, they were never ever going to go that way. I think this was the first time I ever missed any PPV's. I just didn't care about Cena, and have never seen him as anything more than a stubborn push that fans just gave up fighting.
Dropped off even more during the Raw Guest Host Era. That was probably the darkest timeline for me. The wrestling wasn't fun. The stories weren't fun. Other than a few the guest hosts were god awful. But I had TNA then too, so that's why I can't say I ever made a full stop on no longer watching wrestling.
And then ever since it's been a steady diet of rarely watching Raw and Smackdown, and just checking out PPV's.
The blossoming Roman Cena era didn't help much, but the roster is much better now than it was during the darker years for me, and I have options now. NXT did A LOT to save my disdain for all things WWE and that's been the life preserver that kept me even interested in the product. Had it not been for NXT I probably would have given up on WWE completely, save for the Bryan push that Vince didn't want to do anyway, or seeing my favorites in WWE like AJ or Balor.
Hell I got so annoyed with Vince/the neverending Roman coronation that last year I jumped into NJPW all the way watching damn near every show after saying I would do so four Wrestle Kingdoms in a row. Much like NXT it was better wrestling, booking that made sense for the most part, and people in charge that didn't hate the fans. It was a fun year of something new.
I love wrestling too much to out n out stop. I'll always look for an alternative, and nowadays is SO much easier with so much more to choose from.

Damn. Is it sad that I haven’t taken a break since 92? I havent taken a break since 1990 (though there was a time around 1994-early 95 that I only watched occasionally, but I never gave up completely).

In regards to WWE, I grew up from the start watching wrestling with my family in the 90s, ever since I was an infant.
The first time I stopped was in mid 2003. My family just lost interest, or as my parents would likely say, "it got stupid." Stone Cold was my hero, so him retiring kinda saddened me. Plus, even though I love it in retrospect, Kane unmasking with the burnt face, wearing the towel and being chained up like a madman, and setting good ol JR on fire was just too much for me(hey give me a break I was like 7.)
I got back into it late 2006 watching it with my dad and brother, mostly because I was intrigued by the DX reunion and thought "hey this Cena guy is pretty cool." There was a small break from very late 2008 to mid 2009. My brother being an internet smark kinda rubbed off on me and got tired of Cena, Orton, HH, etc. And plus I was moving across the country during that time and was focused on a lot of other stuff. CM Punk and Jeff Hardy's rivalry that summer brought me back, and I watched regularly for a few years.
2015 is a huge blur for me, I think I pretty much kept up by lurking this forum. The last time I was hugely invested was Bryan rising to the top. I just got tired of WWE in 2015 due to most of the same reasons as everyone else. Got back into it in 2016 due to AJ Styles, plus my boy Dean Ambrose finally getting the title.
Stopped again and 2017 and 2018 are even bigger blurs and despite being only 22, I somehow feel like my dad and grandfather looking up and seeing these new guys and feeling so out of the loop like "okay so now who is this guy???"
I recently watched the TLC triple threat from last month and was absolutely blown away. I might start watching again just for the women. My closest friend who isn't a fan of wrestling and only watches it with me said "the women seem to show more attitude than the guys do." Plus, I absolutely adore Asuka and I am so happy she's champ, I've been rooting for her since I saw her in NXT.
Lastly, I'm probably gonna watch Royal Rumble because I love Rumbles plus now I have two to look forward. I just hope Asuka doesn't lose to Becky, I like Lynch and all but... eh.
Let's see if I'm intrigued enough to watch my first wrestlemania since 30 lol.
