1919-1922-----Nosferatu 1923-1926-----The Phantom of the Opera 1927-1929-----The Man Who Laughs
1930-1932-----Frankenstein 1933-1934-----King Kong 1935-1936-----The Bride of Frankenstein 1937-1939-----Son of Frankenstein
Now we move on to the 1940's, and the first part of that decade, 1940-1941. Vote for your favorite, and, as always, explain your choice (if you like), as well as mention any other movies you might have seen on this list, below.
We will also accept Write in Votes (although, please mention it as such) for movies not included on the list I'm getting the choices off of. However, I will not remove any from the list (I can't by that point), so, if you want to make your case why a certain movie isn't a horror film, make it. Hell, you might end up swaying a few voters from going in that direction, but I can't/won't remove it from the list or DQ it.

The Wolf Man runs away with this one for me. It’s such an easy watch and a true classic.

I really liked King of the Zombies so it gets my vote.

The Mummy’s Hand. My favorite of the mummy movies.

Big ol' landslide for THE WOLF MAN pleases me greatly. I've always been a big Lon Chaney Jr. fan. He's great in MAN MADE MONSTER as well, though that one obviously didn't strike a pop culture nerve the way Lawrence Talbot did.

Yeah, as I figured, THE WOLF MAN took this pretty easy. It got my vote as well, as it is one of the finest of the Universal Films, and it, in a way, is kind of an End of an Era for Universal Horror, as the most of the rest of the major horror films they release this decade are sequels or "Monster Team Up" Cash Ins, as fun as those movies were.
Speaking of Sequels, the Mummy and Invisible Man sequels released this year were pretty decent as well, but c'mon, how can one f*** with The Wolf Man here?
Okay, this poll will be over very soon, and then it's on to 1942-1943.
