Becky was right call. Seth? I dunno. Not mad it just feels... meh? Maybe it's because of the match itself, maybe it's cause the stuff with Ambrose just kind of died during the match and they tried to force something with Lashley... I dunno. I feel like the Rumble should either be a moment of elevation or have some kind of redemption arc. Seth just did't seem that invested in the Rumble There was nobody going into that men’s Rumble hot enough to be that kind of winner, I don’t think. If it wasn't the last match you could have had a random SD midcard guy win. It's not such a good idea when the match closes.

I didn’t want a heel to win nor did I want Strowman, someone who got a very mixed reaction at the event, to win. I’m glad they picked someone who’s been hot for a long time and delivers.

Seth would be better if he challenged Bryan so Balor has a clear path for a Demon Match Becky's was perfect With the way Brock was pissed and attacked Balor after the match, this would be amazing. Now I definitely want to see Seth challenge Bryan, while Balor guns for a rematch but Heyman says no, so Balor wins the shot at Chamber and goes on to Mania to beat Lesnar as the Demon.

I have a feeling Seth is going to SD. Braun is winning the EC and facing Brock. Wouldn’t make sense since he’s the one who’s been repeatedly calling out Brock for being an absentee champ. to be fair that hasn't stopped them in the past. I mean the Benoit win beforehand was setup pretty blatantly for him to face Brock with Heyman banning Benoit from ever challenging for the title, and then making him Number 1 in the rumble... only for them to just go nah he'll just go face off with HHH.

Becky I was cool with.
Seth, I mean..out of all your options even when Roman was around, Seth was and should have been THE GUY. From a storyline standpoint of staying on Raw when he didn’t have to, redeeming himself with the crowd and with his old friends and from a meta standpoint of winning the IC title and having it be the most important thing on Raw when Brock’s not around. Out of everyone, dude has had an actual story arc that logically should conclude with him defeating Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania for the Universial Title.
And from a personal standpoint? I feel about the same. Outside of Demon Balor, there’s no one I’d really care about facing Lesnar on the face side. And I can tell they’re fine with Finn in his nice “fringe main eventer, but not the guy” spot, so it’s gonna be nice to watch a Mania main event with a guy both me and the crowd likes where it feels like he has a realistic chance of winning. All of those haven’t happened for me since Bryan in 2014 and before that..I guess Rock in 2012.

I guess it's the right call...
not really sure who else they could have done for the men's winner but... I'm really not interested in seeing Seth vs. Brock.
Becky was obvious but again ultimately the person that should have won the Women's one.

Strangely... the person I think it would have come closest is Ali as you have a ready made feud with Bryan and a Feb feud with Joe lined up. Is he ready? Doubtful, but that would have been a cool story. After that? Smackdown is a bunch of people rebuilding their images after rough ends to 2018. Raw wasn't much better as you have no strong faces outside of Rollins and Balor (and Balor already had a match) and no heel outside of Drew or Lashley could legit be built to fight Brock at this point

Opinions on Rollins may have soured on the internet post-TLC, but he’s still significantly over and is basically the top main event good guy at Raw.

Standard disclaimer: didn't watch, only read results, probably lacking context etc.
Becky was obviously the right choice, though I'll never put it past this company to screw up a sure thing. Glad they seem to have their heads on straight this time, and I hope it's Rousey/Lynch one on one at Mania. There'll be less of a chance of fans souring on Charlotte if they give her something else to do for a while.
Seth was probably the best option for the men, and if the fans popped, can't complain. I still think Strowman should be champ, but they need to take time to build him back up again after f***ing him over with lousy booking, and Drew needs more time to not seem forced. I'm not exactly wild about the idea of Rollins vs. Lesnar, but I'm not sure what else they might have done.
Other than, y'know, Kofi winning. Which will probably never happen, even though it should.

Yeah, between Seth and Braun, Seth was the right person to go with for both the live audience and probably most people here. Neither are getting the reactions they used to, but Seth is a much better opponent for Brock.

Becky - Yay!!
Seth - Meh. I’d rather have Braun win and go after Bryan but that really doesn’t excite me much either.

Becky was a fine choice, either her or Charlotte, they both looked like mega stars in the match.
Seth is okay, I think he was the best pick of the guys they have unless they wanted to throw it at a Smackdown guy just for something different, but I'm on board for Seth winning the rumble and beating Brock straight up, I hope that's where they're going with this. But that also depends on them booking Seth up until Wrestlemania without making him annoying like they did with the Dean feud. I don't know. Hope it works out. The Rumble match was good but the main event layout of things isn't great at the moment. I was really glad Braun didn't win, he is so damaged to me.

Becky winning was the best choice for the Women's Rumble.
I wanted to see Braun win the Rumble and finally get a fair one on one matchup with Brock or Mustafa Ali pull off the upset win and challenge Bryan but I guess Seth is ok.
I'm guessing Seth will challenge Bryan which will set up a match between Brock and the Demon which honestly I hate. I'd rather see normal Finn win rather than The Demon. I know I'm in the minority on this but I don't find the Demon to be scary or intimidating. He just comes off as goofy to me.

Love Becky winning. I love it even more if it's going to lead to her taking out Rousey for the title at WrestleMania. It was obviously the right call to have her win.
I think Seth Rollins is the most overrated wrestler on the planet, so I was disappointed with that. I have no interest in seeing him in the main event, certainly against Brock Lesnar. And like I said in the other thread, if he actually beats Lesnar, it makes it even more stupid. He's not a guy who's going to bring in big ratings or have a compelling title run, so I think they should've given the nod to someone else and at least try something new. I don't like him, but Braun was probably a better choice.

I believe Seth to be the worst member of the shield by a large margin. He has a CAW moveset, backyard wrestlers level of selling &psychology and his acting/promo is... it's cringe inducing. Fair play, Roman has had stinkers but Seth has never said anything that made me anything but aware I'm watching someone play a character.
I enjoy seth in a ziggler type role, mid card guy to have a fun if nonsensical match, but as a focal point of the show I couldn't be any less invested. I think the solidifying moment was his banter at TLC "its over dean. The mind games" etc. Even actors on Sharknado would be looking at him like "dude... take a ****ing class".
I also hated how obvious it was, and my buddy pointed it out, seth was on a 2006 rey mysterio rumble run. Where he didnt do shit, played it safe and lounged about for majority of match.
The ppv was a lot of fun, the whole 5 or 6 hours, but seths performance & win has me pretty "meh" about prospect of getting into wwe for this years RTWM.
And, i will add, the final 4 of mens were all "blah". Andrade had 0 chance and other 3 need to get out of their same roles. Fresh blood.
*disclaimer: i enjoyed Jinders title run. Dood was fresh blood, gave a shit and there was genuine "he has to lose this time". I am done with these soon to be 13x champs only and always being in m.e*

Becky winning is making me stop watching until WrestleMania, She main events, I get an early night. Unlike 99% of you all, I can't stand her.
Seth winning, Eh, I was expecting a big surprise.

I'm fine with both outcomes, I just wish this stuff didn't feel so telegraphed from 800 years away.
