Didn't win the Rumble. Didn't even come close. So can we please just quit this obsession with WWE pushing this guy as a main eventer? Never gonna happen.

I'm still going to keep hoping for it regardless.

They need to stop with ideas on him not getting eliminated. The Woods botch sucked.

Kofi is like an even more midcard Christian level dude to me.
Some guys don’t need to be in a forced main event run to have a great career.

I think he's done.
He wasn't even impressive in this Rumble. He f***ed up BOTH of his big spots and didn't look good inbetween. He's a midcard guy and that's fine.

Never should happen. The Orton feud way back when was his best chance to move up. The roster is simply much more stacked these days, and Kofi's as middle of the road as it gets. Personally, I think Big E and Woods have much bigger upsides, but all three have been hurt by being stuck in New Day for so long. It's hard to picture them as anything else but comedy acts.

I NEVER bought Kofi as a main eventer
However, I wouldn't be against him getting a shot to show what he can do in the future
He blew his spots badly tonight tho

I love his crazy spots where he saves himself but at this point you just know he's going to save himself only to be eliminated almost immediately after and it's like a slap in the face. At least have him last a while after a brilliant save.

If anybody out of New Day, Big E should be the guy.

Yall really shouldn't be saying "people need to stop hoping that-" after Jinder Mahal became WWE Champion. That pretty much opened any possibility of anyone becoming it in today's day and age regardless of how they do in a Rumble where they clearly weren't going to win it.

Eh, I think it'd be easy to remind the crowd of what Big E can do if they do a singles push with him. This is the same guy who Jericho tried to Codebreak, and Big E just plucked him out of the air like a hacky sack. Could see him ragdolling Bryan pretty easily.

Man. I don't know how it's possible to love wrestling and not think Kofi could be successful on top.

He needs to switch from the singlet to trunks or something. The singlet actually hides just how freaking massive he is.

At least he can join Foley as a guy that got eliminated three times in a single Rumble. Guy obviously blew both his spots tonight.

Kofi's super over, moves a lot of merch, and has been a part of some incredible matches. He's consistently great. Also, I think it's important that we remember the outcomes are pre-determined, so Kofi's elimination tonight is not an actual, accurate reflection of his ability.

Always wanted big e to maybe be a main event we but seems he’s been gyrating and pulling silly faces in a midcard tag team act for so long that it ain’t gonna happen
