They uh... they pushed her. Like, I really thought that outside of specific times and crowds (fresh after debuting, anywhere with a lot of American Irish) she was never coming out to crickets, but she was never HOT. She was always just nicely over and 'hey cool Becky's here.' Crowds didn't explode to her. People spoke about her like crowds were desperate for her to get pushed but honestly, other people were getting bigger reactions. Then they pushed her. Then she became the hottest thing in wrestling. Sometimes wrestling is just SIMPLE. This. 100%. Just watch how she & the audience interact during that promo. They were eating out of her hand & Rousey was eating crap.

I never watched NXT when so my opinions on the four horsewomen started when they hit the main roster.
Flair - Nepotism... she’s a hell of a talent but shouldn’t have pushed down our throats as much she has. Female Roman. Better heel than face.
Banks - What the hell is she the boss of? Bit of a mark for herself. Talented but looks like she’s going to kill herself every other match. Terrible back and forth fued with Flair. Terrible non fued with Bailey.
Bailey - I watched a bit of her stuff when the other girls got called up... she seemed like a sure thing or something Vince would completely screw up on the main roster... we know what happened there.
Becky - She just such a natural talent... great look. Awesome underdog. When they called them all up, I saw Becky and said that’s the star right there. She just has it. Fans have always been behind her. When they gave her the ball, she’s ran with it and never looked back. The injury and the blood made fans that loved her already, want to see more and at Mania she’s going against someone who’s her complete opposite. It just works.... oh and that theme song. You know when you hear it shits gonna go down. It doesn’t sound like a dance song or a song from Shrek.

She's the best non Japanese female wrestler I've ever seen.

I think the thing for me with Becky is that she just resonates with the audience. Womens wrestling has been built up so well these last few years, I think so many men have been wanting to get behind (easy now) a woman as much as they do the men. And Becky is just so...effortlessly bad ass.
She is to the audience what Austin was in 1997, and I don't say that ironically. She is the person we've been wanting to cheer for years. That night where Nia broke her face, the shots of her standing in the crowd with the bloody face, gesturing at the ring and surrounded by fans, it sent a chill up my spine. There was a connection made that night with so many fans. It was incredible. I haven't felt it as a wrestling fan in almost 20 years.

Honestly, I've lost some of my interest in Becky since she's started doing the Austin-esque persona.
I know that's not a popular opinion to have, but it is what it is.
I was never huge into Austin himself (though I enjoyed his paranoid/alliance run), either.

The becky of shot and her limping back in the ring and saying she can go to not lose the rumble are spine chilling. You know she is a big deal when you see those moment. As people have said, these moment show...IT!

Becky is my favorite wrestler right now in the entire company but I still see a bit of fine tuning that can be done. Vince needs to hire someone that literally just tells her "You can beat anyone in the world" every 2 minutes, because there are always glimpses of a shy and nice person in there. I know that this is part of what made her so charming, but you have the division on your back AND you are popular outside of wrestling. This is an opportunity to be one of the greatest ever, go all the way.
Other then stuff like that she shows the most passion for this fake sport that I have personally seen in the division.

It's hard for me not to lose interest slightly when people are over like Becky is, because the whole discussion becomes less 'I like her, I hope she wins' and more 'Becky wins or f*** this company'. It makes it less about whatever storyline is happening, and more about peoples perpetually ongoing anger at the WWE.
And I hate her entrance theme. Business is not about to pick up when you hear "Whoa, whoa, whoa".
Other than that I think she's great. Above average in the ring and on the mic, and a great gimmick.
