Please don’t f*** this up WWE.
And by that, I mean please don’t add Charlotte into this WWE.

Ronda is an emotional basket case. She can't handle when her image is stripped down. Holly Holm beating her apparently almost drove her to suicide she was that devastated over her image being rocked. And yes, that's awful, but now she's dealing with that again in WWE and it is pretty apparent she has not grown as a person since... You can tell all that from a promo? Yeah, she was rattled by the fans before her match with Bayley, but when Becky arrived I thought Ronda's promo was damn good. She's not the first nor the last to f*** up a promo. I have no idea if she's grown since that dark time in her life (hopefully she has) but to base your assumption on what you see on your tv? That's one helluva limb to be out on. Count me in as someone who loved Ronda's promo once Becky came out. She did a good job of dropping the smiley facade and going right into her true form of "I own the ground under my feet". What a f***ing great line. You can see Ronda kick in at "...and I stole the show..." From then on it's really really good. She was shook, and played it off well, but damn did she come right back and impress the shit out of me at the end. This HAS to be the main event. The heat between these two is amazing. It's lightning in a bottle if they play it right.

I felt sorry for her but I thought she was great by the end. Her promo with Becky was good, and a nice reminder that she's a legitimate pioneer and badass. Hopefully she just builds confidence and doesn't let the inevitable backlash crack her.

I was open to this being a triple threat with Charlotte until the promo between Becky and Ronda last night. This needs to be a one on one match.

And they will be more invested w/Charlotte Becky gets over by having the deck stacked against her while still being able to talk shit. All 3 women got beef that need to be resolved and as I said I personally don't see Becky/Ronda as main event worthy for whatever that's worth and would actually want that match earlier for Becky to get the maximum pop because just those 2 at the end of a long ass Mania I think is going to drag
Hogan vs. Rock didn't need HHH. Now, it would probably have been a great match, and Rock and HHH had unresolved issues. But on the biggest stage of them all, the focused fight between the main two players was a lot better of an option than adding yet another big name. Especially since Ronda is already fulfilling the role Charlotte would play. The Establishment vs. The People's Champ works a lot better than The Establishment vs. The Establishment vs. The Poeple's Champ. Did you seriously just compare this to Rock-Hogan???

They had to have known this would happen, right? Maybe they didn't see Becky getting this popular, but at a certain point people get tired of unbeatable babyfaces. I hate that this has happened. I came from the era of Hulk hogan and the Road Warriors, and I never felt they should lose-same goes for Ronda-Apparently her promos aren't good, but to see her smile, it's like she was granted her biggest wish in the world and she may not be around long if reports are to believed. I could never boo someone for that. I think the crowds are dicks, but that's their right I guess. Of course some of these are the same people that told Nia to die too.

I think jobbing Becky to Asuka was a big mistake though. I knew Becky had to somehow not win the title there but why not just do the count out after that insane suplex or just anything else? She had to tap clean? No offense to Asuka but she really doesn't mean as much right now. Doing some schmozz finish there at least leaves Becky with some logical reason to take that spot in the Rumble. As it happened she just lost. If she tapped to Asuka, why should anyone believe the Rousey match would go different?

Becky's steamrolled the whole of Smackdown's women for the past few months, she needed to take a decisive loss here to put Asuka over before she and possibly also Charlotte move to Raw. Especially since Asuka didn't exactly get a clean win for the title to begin with. But more than that, the story of the match was how Asuka isn't intimidated by Becky's games or trash talk, and can be just as bad a bitch too. They went back and forth in the end in a way that made them look like they were on the same level but Asuka just got the upper hand and won. There's also an easy way out; Becky knew from the moment she noticed Lana limping that there was a possible opening and didn't want to risk a broken arm if she was going to go after Ronda, which was a much bigger goal she never got to fulfill, while Asuka didn't mean nearly as much to her. As for why anyone should believe the Ronda match would go differently, the Raw audience seemed sure as hell intent on buying that Becky could beat Ronda despite her losing one (1) match by submission since this new character.

I will say there is an argument to have Charlotte in there. But the sole reaction the Becky Rhonda segment had...you dont NEED to have Charlotte to main event. I think you do need Charlotte for this to be main event worthy Ronda/Becky on paper just ain't doing it for me personally but based upon the first week the crowd is wanting it
Different story tho when they been sitting around 10 hours and then they finally have their match
That and Charlotte is by far the most talented of the three overall, for it to look decent in a way other than “crowd thinks it influenced Vince” way she needs to be in there.

Yeh, Becky could take that loss, this is something WWE should do more of.But with all talents, not just with ones they dont see as top star. If you can take a loss once in a while and it gets someone really over,do it.

I don't think she was shook. She was giggling and stuttered once. It's not like she started crying and ran to the back. Then when Becky came out, she was able to cut a decent promo back considering the situation.
With that said, expecting the fans to cheer Ronda over Becky is like expecting them to cheer Bret Hart over Stone Cold, it's just not going to happen. Turn Ronda heel, bring in Shayna, Marina and Jessamyn and have them be the female Horsemen/nWo/Hart Foundation.

I’ve seen it compared to Hogan/Rock and HBK/Taker and I have no idea how people can even think of it that way outside of both taking place at Wrestlemania.

Ronda never had thick skin. She handled it better than I expected of her.(which is still not good) But damn, the crowd booed the WHOLE time she talked, havent seem such huge heat in a long time. Like having a basketball team in Seattle

I finally caught the segment on Youtube and there's a point at a little after 3:25 where she stands on her toes to get in Becky's face and push in closer because Becky isn't scared enough by her, and it reads as so adorably ineffectual. Charlotte is needed for this feud just so there's someone who can sound confident cutting a promo because Ronda spiked up like someone who's decided they're not being taken seriously enough so they get up in everyone's face so they just have to notice them, and still don't have the presence to scare anyone.

Yeah, Ronnie was definitely "shook". This isn't the first time this has happened, either. Remember Survivor Series? She doesn't handle boos well. If she can be coached through that, we'd have the makings of a dynamite feud. Until she can, I don't know what the ceiling is for how high we can get with this.

The problem here is that if reports are true and they're gonna shoehorn Charlotte in, where does that leave Asuka? Getting a huge win against Becky won't mean much if in 2 months time she's wrestling on the Pre-show.

The thing is Becky didn’t even have to insult her or get the crowd to turn on Ronda. The crowd just wanted to boo the sh*t out of her without much prompting. That was savage. Becky basically smirking most of Ronda's promo was my favorite part.

Asuka is now on the same level as Becky and Charlotte, which is a good thing for the Women's Division. And tapping out to a move that's sold as devastating is not going to hurt Becky's character. Especially when she then comes out and wins the Rumble on one leg. As for Ronda's promo, I found myself hoping that Becky isn't being too method, backstage. The interviews I've seen/heard of her since Summerslam have usually had her staying in character and kayfabing it up. With Ronda being this obviously upset by the crowd reactions, I hope Becky is helping her deal with any frustrations and confusion over why the crowd aren't with her. And I don't know how well Ronda would handle the idea of playing the heel. It's one thing to heel it up in UFC, because that's all part of selling a fight, but going out there actively trying to get fans to boo you, and to enjoy those boos? Doesn't seem like it would appeal to Ronda.

Yeah. Just imagine Shayna's goons doing moves that Sasha and Bayley had to sell. Just imagine that shit. Ugh, that's just not what's up. Yea too bad those are not on the level of the other 6 women Hell, leave the goons down in NXT for much needed seasoning and let Shayna come up here and eventually take the belt off Becky Shayna has no fear and her heart and would thrive in this setting
they could even do something where- if/when becky takes the title from ronda, ronda and bazler join up to go after bayely/sahsa for the women's tag title (assuming they win those). also assuming ronda isn't done after mania... hmm lots of assumptions in this idea....
