I know this is a no brainer but I'd like to know the reasons why. Summerslam 92 was a huge show for WWF at the time, did this fail somehow?

SummerSlam 92 was taped. Can you even imagine the nightmare that would be present day? Your biggest show of the year would be spoiled before it even aired.

There's only one legitimate possibility I can see with WrestleMania being held out of North America, and that's if Saudi Arabia can somehow shell out $500m for it. Beyond that, it's tricky to justify their biggest show of the year outside of their largest market.
I think the more realistic expectation would be WrestleMania returning to Canada at some point, or Summerslam in different countries.

That's less of a concern in the Network era. With the Rumble being 5+ hours long I think the WWE needs to seriously start looking at starting their shows on Sunday afternoons anyhow. No reason why the show couldn't start at 1pm EDT, 6pm GMT.

My guess is that if the Saudi shows continue, one of them will end being called Greatest WrestleMania or something and it will “kind of sort of” be a Mania despite an actual Mania taking place during its normal time of the year. I could even see something similar happing in the UK where they do a Melbourne style show with the WrestleMania brand attached to it anchored by a NXT UK Takeover, Axxess, and a Raw and Smackdown taping.

The one thing stopping the UK is that Wembley stadium has a ridiculously early curfews of like 10pm and Wembley arena would be far too small for raw and smackdown plus the stadium is owned by Tony Kahn.
The millennium stadium in Cardiff would be perfect, no curfew and they've hosted live boxing ppvs at 1am in the past plus it has a roof which would be essential given how unpredictable British weather is however the arena in Cardiff is like less than 5000 seated but they are planning on building a bigger one soon.
If they did go with Cardiff I expect the WWE to ignore its actually in Wales and fill it with English iconography though.

It will never happen.
There might be a “SuperShow” in England similar to Crown Jewel, etc.
But due to the time difference, it’s impossible considering the USA are their target audience.

I just don't think they will ever do a Mania outside of NA.... however, I really see no reason to do ANY other event outside of NA. I get the time difference, but if you would just do them on the weekend.... who really cares? (and yes, I know some people work weekends, but still...)

He withdrew his offer when he realised he would not get the full backing of the FA Council.

Well if the Saudi's want a Mania named event, they can't use StrangleMania cause ICP owns that I think. Ok, I couldn't resist. Sorry
