Hear me out.
The turn was nonsensical, the beatdown on R-Truth was just as nonsensical. But, looking at it as a stand-alone tag team? (Which was hard, believe me.) I think it can work.
These two have the charisma and complimentary styles to mesh really well as a tag team and in the tag team division.
Both have kick based offense, both are charming scumbags, both have sick finishers.
Just imagine a Matchka kick, the dude is on one knee before being hit with a Kinsasha. Or Rusev is holding the opponent in the accolade before getting his dome rocked by a sliding Kinsasha.
The turn? Dumb. The beatdown? Worse. The idea of a Rusev/Nak tag team? Shit could work lol plus, much like Elias, I prefer Rusev as a heel because even his cheap heat is nonsensical and charming. And lord knows SDL needs new tag teams anyways.

Im just really pissed WWE turned two sure fire faces in a climate where good faces are few and far between right now. Like why is it so hard to KEEP FACES AS THEY ARE for them??

I'm fine with it, even if it's f***ing insane.

Nothing about that seemed planned. Like they were just trying to figure something out after the ref botch. Wouldn't be surprised if they dropped it all next week.

It could be a case of them seeing the crowd reaction not taking off as they’d hope it would? As much as I love Rusev, the cheers for him weren’t really as prominent as they seemed. Obviously the fault is on the company as they waited a whole year to finally turn him.

At first I thought they turned Rusev because they planned to ship him to Raw to replace Dean slot on the card.
