Boy oh boy that was a doozy looking back, wasn’t it? You had her trashing millennials, acting like she was deaf throughout the whole thing, YOU people. It was extremely disheartening to hear all of that. It legitimately felt opening the last can of soda that was in the fridge, only to find out it was expired and flat.
What a wild ride it was. Then they listened, they made her neautral until that Ronda match. Because apparently the plan was for Becky to attack Ronda with the cane, solidifying her heel turn. And then Nia happened, and then Charlotte turned, and then the rumble win. Jesus, so crazy these last five months have been.

What’s hilarious is that they thought Becky beating Ronda Rousey to a pulp with a cane would make people boo her. They might as well have dressed her in red & yellow and had her saying “whatcha gonna do when Beckymania runs wild on you”. People actually started buying Charlotte as a babyface after she put that beating on Ronda.

It was just stupid and EXTRMELY tone deaf. Plus just bad storytelling
Everyone was still supporting ,cheering Becky so when she says YOU PEOPLE LEFT ME who is she even talking about?and everyone agreed Charlotte being in the title match was bullshit and unfair.
Well there was one person that thought Charlotte was in the right...just not sure I know who....

People actually started buying Charlotte as a babyface after she put that beating on Ronda. It’s very weird to think about in hindsight. In some weird alternate reality things either end up the same (As Charlotte took out the IICONICS so maybe Becky was also supposed to do that to make her neautral?) or are vastly different where Becky is antagonizing a babyface Asuka and Charlotte is off to Raw. |

To be fair, no one ever wants to boo a heel anymore, and it isn’t just in WWE either. If the person is good at being a heel, they’ll either go with it or defy it. I don’t see the problem with the you peoples, I just personally find it funny that it’s the go to thing to do. It was like when I noticed Shane McMahon going “whats up [insert city here]” lol |

Even after the promo failed to get anyone to boo her, they persevered for too long. When Becky appeared on the E&C podcast, Edge said straight up that he was told to go out and get her booed on Smackdown, in that segment they had together.
At least they finally realised that Becky wasn't about to be booed for anything, but it didn't seem like they got fully on board with her as a face until her iconic appearance on RAW.

The way I’ve always seen it, is that if Vince is as all-powerful as we believe him to be, if he didn’t want Lynch to be pushed as she’s getting pushed right now with the character she’s got right now, she wouldn’t be. I mean, this wasn’t the first time that they’ve misread the crowd sentiment and done their own thing with a person and it won’t be the last, so what makes this one so special that they HAD to change course pretty much one promo in?

Ambrose was getting boos in the beginning as well, until the reactions turned to apathy Bryan's getting booed Owens has gotten good heel heat when they've let him be a complete piece of shit |
