For all the buzz they have going that would be the most obivous missing puzzle piece. If they can land a tv deal they will be up and running-and if they managed to land a significant network that reaches a lot of homes it could be the first time in a generation that there is truly an alternative to WWE. But that raises the question-are there any networks out there that could viably give AEW a shot? Pro wrestling is still a heavily stigmatized product that many major networks won’t touch, and its also a niche product that would only fit in certain line ups. So is there any particular entity you could see it working out with?

Would the Khan Family have enough pull to get AEW onto ESPN?

Would the Khan Family have enough pull to get AEW onto ESPN? I doubt that because of the wwe’s relationship with espn. Although if Khan paid enough money...

I could see it being on WGN if they got good ratings for the All In pre-show.

Heard a lot about talks with Time Warner, so one of:
AT&T SportsNet Audience TBS TNT truTV
Probably not Turner Classic Movies.

If AEW ended up on the CW, I just want that Supernatural crossover dammit. Winchesters vs The Young Bucks.

I could see it being on WGN if they got good ratings for the All In pre-show. WGN seems enthusiastic about carrying wrestling content. Or enthusiastic about wrestling promotions who buy paid programming spots.

With the way WWE is reacting to them simply existing, you'd assume they're going to announce a deal with Disney and the roster is gonna cameo in the next Marvel movie.
Seriously though, Tru TV is a safe bet if Turner is involved. It's a catch-all kind of channel where a wrestling show wouldn't be too out of place.

With the way WWE the IWC is reacting to them simply existing, you'd assume they're going to announce a deal with Disney and the roster is gonna cameo in the next Marvel movie. Also accurate. Folks need to get a hold on their expectations a little bit. Any Network with decent viewership is a big win for Khan and the boys.

If I were them, I'd pursue a deal with YouTubeTV or some other streaming service hungry for programming (and subscribers). Traditional broadcasting is going the way of magazines...I don't think it will ever die, but it's going to continue to be less and less of a force.
