Great. Got to tour Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Okinawa, and Tokyo. Went and saw the cherry blossoms in Tokyo, which was one of the main reasons of the trip. Even though I did so much, there's still plenty more that I want to do out there. Maybe another trip next year... |

Well unless you're renting a car in Okinawa, you might want to look into getting tickets for a bus tour if you want to see the northern part of the island. Okinawa has only one monorail line, and that only travels between the airport and places around Naha. Also, they have their own card system out there and don't accept PASSMO, SUICA, ICOCA, etc., so you have to buy individual tickets or a day pass if you plan to use it a bunch (I didn't). Some points of interest up north are the Churaumi aquarium and Cape Manzamo, though I unfortunately wasn't able to go to the latter. Also, the bus didn't stop by Miyagi island (no, not that Miyagi) and the bridge that travels to it. For shopping spots, the Naha Kousai Dori is a great place to pick up local item. I was able to pick up a few Okinawa style shirts (like a Hawaiian shirt, just made in Okinawa) and various food items for me to take home. I recommend trying the Okinawa style cookies (can't remember what they were called) and some of the purple yam flavored treats. As for places to eat, Naha is a great place to try local cuisine. Even something common like ramen would have an Okinawa style spin to it. There's a few other shopping places like the American Village and the T Galleria. The first one is like an outdoor shopping mall where you can buy plenty of clothing and souvenirs. I wouldn't recommend going to the T Galleria unless you're looking for high end brand items like Gucci, Coach, Blvgari, etc., as that's all you'll find there. If you want to go to the beach, don't worry, there's plenty of them, and they weren't even that crowded when I was there. It's definitely a place I would go back to, as one could easily spend a week out there and still have plenty of stuff to do. I was only there for 2 full days, so I wasn't able to do some beach things like snorkeling or hang gliding. Still had a great time though. |

Awesome! It will be two full days for me as well as well as visiting some other islands in the Okinawa Prefecture (Ishigaki as a base and then visit Taketomi and Iriomote from there, going to Yonaguni Island [the most western island of Japan], then staying in Naha for two days before continuing up north to Yoron and finally Yakushima before going home).

So as things stand.. We are probably looking at Ponies and Yaks for the next 12 weeks.
With the last episode before the mid season break likely to be June 22nd.(Assuming they don't have none episode weeks like they use to)
I would bet that the 2nd half would kick off again either August 3rd or August 10th... I would prefer the latter as the former would clash with Bronycon.. Even if it does mean I could watch it US time.
Then assuming ther Finale will be a Double episode. The sad weekend where we say goodbye will likely be either the 12th or 19th.... Once again I would prefer the latter as the former clashes with Uk Ponycon and I kinda want to be around for the Finale for the last goodbye.
