....and he stuck around for only a short amount of time.... He was actually there for quite a while in 1999. Everything you read about his WWF run happened in the first half of the year, but he would wrestle sporadically from June to October, and I mean like every few weeks; both on TV (usually with Stevie Richards) and house shows (got a few wins against Shawn Stasiak in the fall at shows up here at the old Cape Cod Melody Tent in MA and Warwick Musical Theatre in RI). He made a brief appearance at Summerslam with Stevie, and his last appearance was at the 1999 Survivor Series as part of Big Show's "team" with Kaientai... which Show just beat up backstage and who never wrestled with him.

Not to make this a religious discussion, but I heard he's Bluish.

I think both Foley and Russo pitched for him. Unfortunately for him, the Blonde Bytch Project died once the company settled with Sable, and once Russo left, creative had nothing for Meanie.
He then returned to ecw in an awful repackaging with Jasmin St Claire and that didn’t end up well for him in the long run.

I’m pretty sure I recall someone in a shoot saying that Meanie and Stevie were filming stuff for a Blair Witch Project rip-off at this time, but none of it made air. I don’t remember any of it anyway. There actually WAS one segment of this that made it to the. I vaugely remember Stevie and Meanie watching a VHS of the Blair Witch project in a crappy looking apartment before talking about the REAL story that happened Pretty sure they even had a parody of the Blair witch logo with boobs added to it

Might've been a case where Raven and Stevie both previously leaving WCW meant they wouldn't be interested in bringing in Meanie.

Yeah, I want to say he had a personal site and was an early adopter of using the internet to promote himself and get in touch with fans. I know Jerry Lawler definitely was one of them. Early adopters, I mean. I couldn't tell you if Lawler was some big fan. I recall Jericho being the absolute first. He was a website in at least 1997. Ah, Jericho's website. So many memories, from him throwing a hissy fit over the internet's response to a match in 2002, to him trolling people into thinking he was going to TNA in 2005. Good times.

When Russo defected in 99 he never told anyone or even gave his notice, by that point Meanie was already under contract, then Russo was sent home in 2000 and could no longer bring Meanie back.
