Forgot to mention since I wasn't able to go to Fight Factory Pro Wrestling yesterday (long story short, thought I could make it post travelling back from family and couldn't) {Spoiler}We have NEW Irish Junior Tag Team and Heavyweight champions as Club Rock Shandy and Fabulous Fabio beat More Than Hype to win both sets of belts respectively in what was, by all accounts, a pretty damn good match.

So Unboxing actually seemed kind of crazy {Spoiler}{Spoiler} A Roy Johnson trademarked Wasteman Challenge lead to a reverse battle Royale, Kyle Fletcher now wears a mask somewhat, The OJMO almost won the PROGRESS World title, Rampage Brown’s back in PROGRESS and the main event was a deathmatch between David Starr and some AEW guy named...*checks notes* Jimmy Havoc? Steveweiser will probably be able to say more but thought I’d give a summary.

Steveweiser will probably be able to say more but thought I’d give a summary. Quick rundown... {Spoiler}There was a card overhaul because Toni Storm was ill and couldn't compete, and plans to feature Pete Dunne and Will Ospreay fell through. The opening mixed tag was meant to be the preshow match, and ended up being the only match that featured women all night.
The Wasteman Challenge/Reverse Battle Royal segment WENT SUPER LONG. Definitely contributed to the show overrunning by half an hour. Was likely the original show opener. Very funny stuff including Stupid Sexy Travis Banks, and LIGERO ACCUSING SANTOS JR. OF BEING A FAKE MEXICAN.
The best two matches were back to back. Kyle Fletcher now has an entrance mask, and had a banger of a match with Ilja Dragunov. The OJMO made people believe that he would win the PROGRESS Title in an unannounced match in the middle of the card, he does a great job of drawing people into his matches.
Negative reaction to Paul Robinson's match being announced as non title, why even need him when he didn't even figure into the finish? Just gave Cara Noir another win before his title shot at Chapter 101.
Nice to see Rampage Brown back, but that was just an exhibition tag we didn't exactly need, no stakes to it at all.
Surprised to see Jimmy Havoc back as he's still under AEW contract (thought Marty Scurll would show up, as he's currently a free agent), and Davey Death Match delivered in the setting. Still think Starr is leaving PROGRESS, likely due to the conflict with the WWE links attached to the ownership.

With Wrestle Kingdom this weekend, that seemed like a real gamble. Not being able to get Pete, though? Super weird. Like, there's not even NXT tomorrow. Unless they're that concerned about him being injured before next Wednesday?

Joe Cabray hasn't got round to sacking B. Cool again, so he's booked for OTT in Belfast this Sunday against Cara Noir.

In a big loss for British wrestling, but a big win for him, Chris Brookes announced that when he returns to DDT after his next trip home, he will be there for a whole year.

Considering he just faced Masato Tanaka the other day...not a bad choice to be made. Hopefully he gets killed off at the next Schadenfreude show to write him off.

Brookes' last UK show will be Schadenfreude and Friends in Manchester on February 18th. And also his last show in life. Because the ghost of Santos and/or Chief Officer Munny will kill him.
