Up next in "Britwres is filled with idiots", beloved wrestler Cara Noir decides to take a torch to his reputation by letting disgraced idiot Paul Robinson teach a class at his school Afterwards, the story of how Big Damo also torched his reputation by appearing on Marty Scrull’s podcast. A great couple of days for BritWres..

Up next in "Britwres is filled with idiots", beloved wrestler Cara Noir decides to take a torch to his reputation by letting disgraced idiot Paul Robinson teach a class at his school I just randomly clicked on this thread and the first post I read was this news of Cara Noir. Man, I am dissapointed. Speaking of Robinson, I've been watching what I have been missing of PROGRESS and Robinson getting positive reaction from the crowd kinda irks me.

Wow EVE are going all in on Safire Reed. No wins for about a year then wins the she-1 and now she's won the title from Miyu Yamashita.
Not sure how she'll step us champion, it's hard for a teenager to follow such a dominant and big name champion. I think it would have made more sense for Nina Samuels to win the title and then Safire beat her.
But she's good and over, maybe that's enough, good luck to her and hope it works out for everyone. Rare to see someone so young put over to that degree.

No shock they can't sold out the Ballroom.

I'm really starting to get pissed off at just how shit UK promotions are at actually promoting and advertising their shows. So for context Minoru Suzuki is one of my last bucketlist wrestlers to see perform live. When he wrestled Edge the other day in AEW it reminded me to have a quick look around to see if he was being advertised anywhere and specifically looked at the Rev Pro site as that's where he often turns up. Nothing. Or nothing obvious at least.
So needless to say when I discover this morning, that barely 10 days after scouring the Internet and social media for any sign of him, that he wrestled here last night roughly an hour or so from where I live, is really frustrating.
Now, admittedly I was in Liverpool until yesterday on my stag do attending TNT's Dead or Alive tournament (shout out Emersyn Jayne for winning) and it would would have been a mission to attend another show at the other end of the country, but it would've still been nice to have had the choice.
Edit: There was one post among the dozens of conversations on Twitter advertising it, which I must have missed. However, I stand by my point.

^^ It's annoying, revpro have some card previews from Autumn last year in their website news section. It can't be too hard to do that for every show. Even just the more high profile matches if not the full card. More useful than things getting lost amongst twitter posts.
I went to a United Wrestling show yesterday, was in a taproom which was novel to me, wouldn’t trouble Meltzer's star ratings but was fun. They're usually based out of Oxford.
While researching that I also stumbled across Brit King Pro Wrestling and was surprised to see they had Dragongate wrestlers appearing. Shun Skywalker was in Swindon.

Oxford isn't a million miles away either, I'll check them out. I'm off to a show in Milton Keynes at the end of the month that randomly found its way onto my timeline that has Gringo Loco and Lio Rush appearing on it. It's crazy how many wrestlers are appearing over here at the moment, and for promotions that you wouldn't necessarily expect. RISE have their big Deathmatch tournament in a couple of weeks, that's got some of the biggest names in Deathmatches appearing on it, unfortunately I just can't fit it in this month. But yes, the Rev Pro situation is particularly perplexing and frustrating, especially when you consider that there's a gaping hole at that top of the UK scene waiting to be filled by a promotion and with just a little more concentration on even the basics they'd probably be the ones to fill it.

Went to this IWN show last night and had a great time. Both Lio and Gringo were fantastic, but I also impressed by a number of the homegrown talent too. Was my first time seeing Rhio (not to be confused with Riho) and it can't be long until she's appearing in bigger promotions. Great look and physique and good in the ring too, definitely looking forward to seeing her at a few more shows. Man Like Dereiss might well be the most over wrestler on the UK indies right now, third time seeing him and he gets a great reaction wherever he appears. Already appearing in America and can't be long before he's based out there. And then there's Robbie X, second time seeing him and second world class match. If he was based in the States or Japan he'd be considered one of the best Cruiserweights in the world. Great night all in all, and definitely not the last IWN show I'll attend.

I don't usually pay attention to reality TV that isn't Race Across the World (back tonight!) so hadn't realised the title contestant from new show Josh Must Win was Josh Foulds. I saw him in United Wrestling earlier the year but seems he's now retired from the ring.
There was a wrestler in Gladiators too. Maybe other British wrestlers will be filling the TV schedules. Skye Smitson on the apprentice?
