Put this in another thread but I’ll put it here as well. Considering going to a RevPro show soon don’t know if anyone has been to one before and knows what to expect. Ospreay was on one of their shows recently but I have no desire to see him live to be honest. Did you go or anyone else go? Was tempted by Suzuki appearing later this month but the good seats had gone. Mostly interested international names, I'm going to EVE's she-1 due to Jamie Hayter and Asuka/Veny and was tempted by Shoko before that. Also because it's in in the afternoon. Also see progress have an afternoon tournament but the field isn't appealing to me. So anyone been to anything? Or know of anything else notable outside AOPs show? Anywhere to find upcoming shows/cards? Even each promotions websites/socials make it hard to find the details. I tried to but haven’t been to a show yet mainly due to the combination of usually working weekends and working early shifts so I don’t want to be out too late on a Sunday. Also travelling to London is bloody expensive now. It’s still on my list of things to do though.

And I don't think Jamie has been back since her one post-gimmick overhaul appearance so the pop should be immense

I went to EVE's first she-1 show yesterday and really enjoyed it. Knew nothing of Takumi Iroha but her match with Charlie Morgan was great, especially her kicks. Loved seeing Asuka/Veny, watched her second match with Alex Windsor this morning and it's even better (link below). Disapointed Jamie Hayter couldn't make it though.

A few years ago I went to every EVE show! Maybe one day we'll cross over. The She 1 shows are typically top notch. Sucks they couldn't get Jamie after all.

Hopefully, definitely want to go again and a FAN meetup would be cool. Gets expensive with accommodation so need either afternoon shows or big guests to justify it (basically Maki Itoh coming back).

Why do British independents always have such god awful commentators? Lol

And I am pretty sure Leah is on commentary because she can't wrestle any more and the promoter wants to keep paying her

Progress have Takeshita and Hayata (from Noah) booked this weekend in Sheffield. Wish that was in London on a non train strike weekend.
The train strikes must be a headache for the UK promotions, revpro's upcoming 10 year anniversary show will also be effected. Personaly I think I'll have to give Eve's next show a miss partially because there's no way of knowing what the situation will be in a couple of months and by the time I do it'll be sold out.

Now available on demand is Sovereign Pro: First Reign, featuring Simon Miller, Kidd Bandit and Steph Sterling in an elimination match, an "Anything Pink Is Legal" match, and also me, my wife, and Final Gwen in the front row, if you can spot any of us. Such a good show, glad to have the video! That Dream House Death Match is a delight. Quite happy the camera picked up Harley Hudson pointing at my hair during her entrance like 'you get it!'.

My friend Echo also has bright pink hair, and was sat directly under the hard cam in the bleachers, and I had to tell them later they somehow went to the bathroom during the exact moment that the brawl went to their seat.

EVE's Wrestlequeendom is now two shows so I think I'll go to the afternoon show. It features Session Moth teaming with Hyper Misao which has the potential to be the greatest tag-team since E&C.
It does mean missing Takumi Iroha in the evening though which sucks as she was so good last time.
Also based on seeing one match and some clips I've decided Harley Hudson will become a big star one day.

youtu.be/k8pU9DyWTg0James Stephanie Sterling's new promotion Spectrum Wrestling's first show "Rejoice" is now up for free on YouTube. Their next show is in a few weeks in Sheffield for a really decent price, so if you see a bunch of gender nonconforming idiots in the front, it's likely to be me and my partners, but also likely to be basically everyone else there.

I went to show 1 of Wrestle Queendom which was enjoyable, might as well give my thoughts.
Yuu is a new favourite, super charasmatic and likeable and works the crows well. Laura DiMatteo selling the fact she's a powerhouse fully sold me on her too.
Sadly Takumi got injured, don't think many of us knew the women in the Marvelous exhibition match but they won us over, Maria in particular looks a prospect.
Session Moth as a superhero was fun and I was impressed by Misao's English but gutted I missed her doing a crashing a Boris bike into chair tower spot on the evening show as that's my favourite running gag.
Charlie Morgan Vs Emersyn Jayne was brutal. Not sure about Charlie turning heel in the evening but maybe it's so she doesn't have to be fearless and can slow down a bit.
Enjoyed Windsor beating Jetta for the title, surprised Miyu beat her later. It's a cool development but Millie McKenzie is her first challenger in TJPW and while still good she didn't seem near the same level as Miyu or most of the others. Like Thunder Rosa she wouldn't stay laying down so Miyu could do her spinny kick thing despite her shaping for it several times. That said it's smart if she gets the experience while losing before somebody else wins the belt back.

I was fairly sure they were building to turning Charlie before she got hurt, she was making a lot of errors and losing matches due to over confidence. Glad they finally paid it off.
