Seemed like it was due to happen since his contract passed with NJPW and we haven’t heard news with him and WWE Good for him and he’s in a executive position Well, that confirms my worst suspicions. AEW is going to be "Elite on top, good luck to everyone else" and it means this idea of "Misused WWE people are going to do great in AEW" is horrifically off.

I saw this on Twitter and I can't stop laughing at the idea even though I know it won't happen. Imagine Orton lacing up his boots. Kenny walks in to talk about his scheduled match with him. "Ok, we're going 40 minutes and I figure we can trade some finishers before going to the finish." Kenny keeps talking but Randy hasn't even looked up. A bit annoyed, Kenny asks Randy what he thinks. Finally, Orton looks up. "14 minutes. With entrances. 1 RKO." And then walks away. Now I want to see an OWA countered into an RKO. I think he'd need to get him up, lose grip on his arm, and Randy would flip forward into the RKO, like a Diamond Dust, if we're not just having Orton roll off the back and RKO Omega when he turns around.

Kota does whatever the hell he wants Pretty sure he shows up in AEW in the not too distant future
Yeah I could see him coming in for a feud with Kenny on how he abandoned him again, but Kota won't sign anywhere exclusively. Though who knows, AEW does offer him consistent work in America and now bookings in Mexico (AAA) and China (OWE) and with Pac/CIMA in it wouldn't shock me if Dragon Gate became a realistic option. Speaking of a feud NJPW has to be pissed they never got the chance to do that between them
I doubt they feud but can see them getting a good amount of tag matches
It all depends on Kota because dude can say f*** it and work AEW consistently and then show back up in NJPW like nothing happened

I think they earned a wait and see attitude to how they will book themselves vs the promotion as a whole
This is a business and they have to do what's best for it but they are also their biggest stars at the moment too
Will see how much they try to build up others to their level and if for example they sign someone like Ambrose who on paper thanks to WWE would be their biggest star

They always say, count your chickens before they hatch, that way you don't have to catch up with them if they, like, run around and stuff.

All that really confirms to me is that the Elite is getting some special perks with the job and... Yeah, they're pretty much the entire reason the company is seen as a reasonable business venture to begin with so I'm not seeing a problem with that.

Honestly would not be shocked if after Double or Nothing Cody and the Bucks take a bit more of a backseat and focus on their backstage roles... or at least Cody (depending on who signs they may want to do those matches and then take a break a bit)

Cody's got the hurt knee, dunno how serious it is. The Bucks, given the intent to boost tag teams, I figure they're going to have to be at least partially active, at least initially.

Sasha might be next given her comments on social media. She's freaking out this on IG lol. Could also just be for fun to mess with fans or even to lay seeds and help with contract negotiation. None of these guys have had this leverage before now. Value me, or say goodbye to me. That's a first for anyone in WWE who wasn't around in the attitude era.

How I choose to believe Kenny responded to WWE's offer:

They'd be stupid *not* to give Kenny special perks. He's probably the most well known guy outside of WWE in North America and one of the reasons that any of this is even happening. Not signing Kenny would have been the f*** up of all f*** ups.
