Back in the day, we had Mankind, Kane and to a lesser extent, Abyss.
Do you think we’ll see another masked monster gimmick again in this day and age? Do you like them?

By monster you mean someone that acts like a crazy inhuman individual right? Not just Braun "I wreck shit like its nothing" type of chracter.
I remember long time ago one tried to play a monster character,he lost all his hair and went insane.

I think monster gimmicks are a bit too cheesy for modern, 'serious' sports entertainment. When you've got dry characters like Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles, you can't really ask people to take spooky, supernatural monster gimmicks seriously.
But I do like Mark Henry-style, 'bigger is better', bully gimmicks.

The Bludgeon Brothers were presented that way with their spooky vignettes, creepy masks, and mallets, though I guess they are no longer a thing since Rowan was repackaged.

I was 4 when Mankind debuted in WWF. He absolutely scared the shit out of me. I think something like that would still get over today, but then again that was one of the all time greats playing the character.

I think they briefly tried to do a "Phantom of the Opera" style self-loathing gimmick after Enzo & Cass dumped hair removal cream on him.

Does Bray Wyatt count? He does all the oogie boogie cornball shit. By definition, yes. But considering a point of contention with how scattershot his booking can be at times, can we really say he's a "monster"?
