This is now trending at #4, wow. Seems like this is getting them the exact press they wanted. Yeh,bad press is just THE BEST. Even trending its not the most viewed video of the show, that just shows how bad it is.It's got more engagement in it from actual viewers compared to the Becky/Ronda/Riott Squad video. Views are views but there's a reason why people say "like or dislike my video" in every video from a Youtuber. Those likes and dislikes are actually what provides engagement, video growth and in turn more people watching the video compared to views. It doesn't matter if people dislike it because it provides more engagement such as why it's trending. You're looking at the views but you're not looking at the actual engagement from the viewers. Basically, the Charlotte video is doing more for the WWE than than any other video on Raw due to engagement.

It is a good thing for the WWE when people see the Charlotte video compared to the video you're talking about. More people are speaking about the Charlotte video than anything else that happened on Raw as well and also the Charlotte clip just hit 1 million and it'll probably surpass the other video in a few hours. It's more than you think it is. Youtube doesn't care about likes and dislikes, they care about actual engagement which is why this video's trending and the Riott Squad one isn't. You might dislike it but that's what's happening here.

How much do you want to bet that the video will surpass the Riott Squad one?
Also do you know the videos that this company's had that have had mass dislike ratios, do you know what some of them have been these past 5 years? A large amount of them are things that we often talk about today on this forum.

I wont be surprised, especially with the boost of trending But you are comparaing a BIG MAIN SHOW REVELEATION trending vs A post-show with bad audio that wasnt even featured. And that is withotu the argument that is BAD it has so many views and still be one of their most disliked video, its not something you wanna show off.

They have a shrinking audience of devoted WWE/wrestling fans. That’s pretty much it.

Nobody wants dislikes on their videos. That does not help them in any way. That’s definitely true, but it’s clearly the reaction they were looking for. The idea of Vince McMahon side stepping Becky’s apology due to dealing with so many anti hero’s in the past, knowing how that game goes, and choosing his vision of what a true contender should be is obviously going to get eyes rolling till their pupils are in the back of their heads, and that’s clearly what they were going for with Charlotte as the mega heel stealing from the underdog going into Mania.

This isn't a story, though. This is just a match. "May the better woman win." There ISN'T much of a narrative there. But there absolutely should be, and if there isn't that's really a failure on the company's part. Starting from a base of "these are two of the baddest, toughest fighters on our roster, and they're going to tear things down at Mania" is only the beginning: from there you have Lynch and Rousey as characters evolve the story. How do their personalities mesh and clash? How should Rousey's character react to the crowd's love for Becky and the boos that could turn her way? In turn, what story does that mean they'll tell in their match? If you have fully developed characters, that's really all you need to do: pair them up, let their characters play off one another, and let the story grow organically from there; obviously there are other storyline considerations that bookers have to make (e.g. is the end goal getting Becky over?), but there's a gold mine here with just depicting Rousey as the final boss for Becky to overcome on her way to the top, given Rousey's very real fighting credentials and ability to look like a killer in the ring. But they've already started Becky's story, and the final boss is Charlotte. It's the only thing that makes sense, both because of their specific history and because of what Becky's supposed to be struggling against. Lynch doesn't win by conquering the biggest bad-ass. She wins by upsetting the system. They couuuuuld tell that story with Rousey, but 1. it's a stretch, and 2. they definitely won't, because Rousey would have to be a heel who's privileged because of her UFC history and celebrity, and she probably has it in her contract she can't be portrayed that way. Rousey just doesn't represent Lynch's struggle the way Flair does, in terms of the storyline. Precisely BECAUSE Flair gets inserted into main events without deserving it.

They have a shrinking audience of devoted WWE/wrestling fans. That’s pretty much it. If that were the case, Seth’s reactions would be teetering towards boos, Drew would be getting monster pops, and AEW chants would fill the arenas anytime they see Dean Ambrose. A causal audience is still very much there.

You dont beat the final boss 5 times in a row. She is the mid-boss. Ronda is the UFC girl that came into WWE a bad ass,she came and already took over the top. Lynch is the girl you watche dbecome a bad-ass through sheer will. You want to see her beat Ronda to be the best. Beating Charlotte wont prove that anymore, she was the STEP to that. Now with a triple threat...ok she won,so what? Its not a clean fight, she didnt prove she is better than Ronda,we KNOW she is better than Charlotte already
