They’ve always liked Owens so I hope this face turn is what he needs to rebound from a slump.

That said, a little over a month before WM seems like an odd time to bring him back. I figured if he wasn't back the week after EC they'd hold him off as a post-Mania surprise.

Make him that prize-fighter again, but a more chilled out version of it. A babyface who, if told he's got a match against another babyface just shrugs and says, 'well, okay', but doesn't use cheap heel tactics, or hold grudges.

I kind of get the sense they're building up to a big Team Angle vs. Team Corbin thing at Mania. He'd make sense in that due to his issues with Lashley.

They've still got Fastlane after EC, so it seems he'll be showing up on one of the post-Fastlane shows (Fastlane is on March 10, so...in a month). Maybe they'll just plug him in as the Smackdown title contender for Mania.

I also loved the shit out of the presentation.

My ideal would be for Owens to be the exact same character, but wrestling against heels.

But I will take almost anything that leaves him babyface. I've never seen it. I can't wait to see it. His character needs it.
