What are some examples of gimmicks that only work when related to another gimmick/wrestler?
Examples:
- EC3, in WWE. He is still Ethan Carter III, except we know he isn't rich and Dixie doesn't exist in WWE kayfabe. So he is somebody's nephew, who is 'rich.' What?
- Joseph Park, which only works if you've already had the length Abyss run.
- Does Kane work, at least for twenty years, without Taker? Big, scary, chokeslammy, burned face man? Probably would but I doubt the same level of longevity.
What are some others?

This is a great reason why EC3 isn't really working in WWE right now. There is no context to his character. How outlandish would a Dixie Carter appearance be? Even if it is for a shot deal, that would really help out the EC3 character. |

I forgot about her run, yeah that was awesome, I think Chyna herself said that doing that was her favorite part of her wwf run. |
