The Diamond Cutter/RKO is amazing. It’s a big reason why both DDP and Orton got so popular. One simple move holds up over 2 decades.

If I had to choose the most over finisher of all time I would say The Worm.

Probably still the RKO
Personally my favourite is the Shatter Machine.

Probably still the RKO Personally my favourite is the Shatter Machine. The absolute peak of its overness being when Wilder and Ciampa teamed up to do it on AOP, while Phillips and Percy lose their *freaking* minds.

Yeah, it's the RKO. That move has become a social media meme that extends far beyond professional wrestling too.
The 619 (a move I really don't care for) still gets a big pop, and you hear the audience getting excited as soon as a guy conveniently falls onto the ropes.
The Disarm-Her has gained a lot of steam recently, thanks to Becky's soaring popularity. Again, you can hear the crowd's excitement, when they see her trying to apply it.
I like stuff like Black Mass and Murphy's Law, because they look great, but they're still a bit of a secret for a lot of fans. So that gasp when they see them for the first time is really satisfying.

It's the RKO, certainly, though some, like the Curb Stomp and the Kinshasa, still get a lot of reaction, too.

Ratio of occasions used to crowd reactions, the Tombstone piledriver has to be up there.

It's the RKO, certainly, though some, like the Curb Stomp and the Kinshasa, still get a lot of reaction, too. I think a big factor is that all 3 are really simple but really flashy looking at the same time. RKO has Orton makes it look amazing and built an intere persona under RKO OUTTA NOWHERE. Curb Stomp just looks vicious,Kinshasa i think its mostly thanks to how Nakamura manages to be a fancy sob with it, just like the RKO he knows how to make it look cool. Also, just bonus for outside of WWE: Definitively Okada's Rainmaker and Pentagon Dark's (Literal) Arm Breaker

RKO by a mile and a half.
As for all-timers, Hogan's legdrop, the Stunner, and my god...times where Rock would slowly slide off his elbow pad. The crowds would go batshit.

One of my friends that knows very little about wrestling thinks the RKO is awesome because of the memes.
The RKO is actually an excellent move because of its simplicity. It can be used at so many points in the match. It becomes exciting because it requires so little setup so it really seems like it can come "out of nowhere".

See I think that could have been a cool move but Eva was always super green and so was Liv. It was not really the right match to try something like that. Then again that was also in the middle of the Eva Marie gets special privileges storyline so maybe it was partially sloppy on purpose...

If you were to ask a non wrestling fan for a wrestling move odds are they'll say either the full nelson or something of that ilk or the RKO

It’s hard to say anything other than the RKO as most over. However, I do see the 630 becoming a big deal failrly quick once Ricochet hits the main roster.

It's the RKO and it's not even close.
