This is extraordinarily bad. I genuinely can't believe how bad it is.
Is the entire ECW locker room homophobic as shit, by the way?

How in the hell did he convince Shane McMahon to do that intro? Haven’t seen the video yet but I know Penn Jillette says the easiest way to be left alone is just do what the person wants and be done with it.

How in the hell did he convince Shane McMahon to do that intro? R Felix posted a comment saying that they just so happened to both be at baggage claim at the same time. Holy coincidence, Batman.

On the actual subject of the video, what an awful, awful pet project. Van Dam has no timing, and the production, even if it was "pilot" status, was bush-league.

Well given the name attached I have a feeling where most of the production budget was allocated towards...*cough cough*

wow that show made me feel sad RVD's standup made me the saddest. The show was atrocious but, not really unexpectedly.

At least Sandman's drunken dancing was funny.
But RVD is just so goddamn awkward when he does his bits. It's like all his capacity for flow went into his athleticism and none of it went into his ability to speak on a microphone.

Jesus, was that horrible. It looks like it was filmed on 90s vhs cameras. This was made in 2013. HD camcorders were pretty much available by then. It actually wouldn't have been that expensive or hard to set up. It's almost like they thought they would only work hard on this after the show got picked up. Which is some ass backwards logic.
And also, this is yet another reminder that just because sometimes you do a funny thing or a funny thing happened to you that makes a story good for laughs, does not mean you are suddenly a comedian. There's a reason Henry Rollins refers to his routine as spoken word and not stand up comedy.

RVD who has always been known for his comedic timing and massive amounts of skills on the microphone. Yeah, probably his best mic work of his career was ECW, and a lot of it was because he just didn't have to say a whole lot to sell his, "I am too good to be in this shitty company, and will be leaving for WCW or WWF as soon as possible" heel character. Probably in part because it's not like he was having to stretch things to sell how overqualified he was for his spot.
