What if that happened and then we had the Bryan/Kofi rematch at mania where either Kofi retains or Bryan wins it back. It would be better than just having Kofi as a challenger and losing like Nakamura.

I would't even mind if he wins at the Chamber and then loses it on weekly programing right away. I'd just love to have him in the record books and to see his in ring celebration.
So yeah that scenario would be peachy.

If he wins the title he wins the title regardless.

The celebration by Kofi and the New Day would be worth it and would probably go down in history similar Mrs Foley's baby boy winning the title (minus the whole WCW part)

I’d like to see him win it, but find a way for Bryan to win at EC in a cheap way & have Kofi chase him to Mania. Let Bryan really heel it up on him over the next few months & make it a huge moment at Mania for Kofi to get the belt.

He's just a random sub. He has zero shot on Sunday. But hey, I wouldn't hate it if he did win. To me this Bryan stuff reeks of midcard heel shtick and isn't remotely WWE title worthy.

He'd have to have a successful defense at Fastlane just to show his win wasn't a fluke. Then he could lose it at Wrestlemania

The preferred route for me would definitely be him winning the belt at Mania but I'd be perfectly fine with him winning the title at Elimination Chamber then losing it at Fastlane. At least he'd have had it and something genuinely unpredictable would've happened in the leadup to Mania for once.

He could win at Elimination Chamber then lose at Fast Lane, and I think everyone would be happy. A thank you reign that doesn't derail any plans (hah!) that they might have for Bryan and the title at Wrestlemania.
Bryan would have to make sure those disgustingly consumerist and frivolous New Day don't get their hands on his beautiful, sustainable belt, though. They can have the old, metal and leather one.
