Seth Rollins is currently dealing with injuries but WWE officials are hoping he will be close to 100% for the WrestleMania 35 match with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Rollins' back has been hurting him for some time now, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Going into January's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Rollins knew he needed to take time off after that event for his back injury to heal. Rollins could wrestle right now if the company needed him to, but the feeling is that it's better for him to rest & heal up, instead of having him work and make things worse, especially considering his position at the top of the WrestleMania card. The idea is that WWE officials want him as close to 100% as possible for the biggest show of the year. www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/02/backstage-update-on-seth-rollins-wwe-status-injury-650946/

I believe this is something all WWE stars should do once a year for a month or so.
It'd keep things fresh and let these poor guys heal up.

That’s not good :/ maybe just give him a short title reign, rest him up and then do Seth/AJ at mania 36

The ideal would just have him do nothing until Mania, win the belt, then quickly drop it to whoever and take off for however long he needs.
Maybe move AJ over to be the flag bearer for Raw in the meantime. He could desperately use the change of pace, loathe as I am to see him still in the title scene.

Considering the next event leading up is Fastlane, which is arguably even more forgettable an event, I'd take Seth off TV.

Becky has shown you don't even need to wrestle on TV much to stay hugely over.

Becky has shown you don't even need to wrestle on TV much to stay hugely over. True, though Seth's promo skills are not his strong suit. I'd definitely have him take it easy, though. Maybe show some promos of him working out, new or some footage already kept on hand. Say he's getting ready for Brock, give him a sit down interview with Cole and try to be a bit more real. Not saying he has to call himself Colby, but be real, about the year he's having, about his history with Brock, just put a human face on his side of things. Maybe air parts of it per week on the road to Wrestlemania while he rehabs his back.

The way this is phrased it sounds like it's a nagging issue.

I love how this is seemingly something that we need to think up work arounds for because if he leaves to heal the u.v title feud will have no one to build it due to conditioning that Brock absolutely won't be there, and that's ok.
Though I did read Brock is scheduled for more Raw dates, maybe plan is he bounces around while Seth bounces home to heal for a bit.

The way this is phrased it sounds like it's a nagging issue. If serious tho, they would have most likely not put him in this position. My attention would been caught more if it said he possibly needed surgery but right now he's dealing with niches and bruises and he knew he needed time off to heal up and with 6 weeks until Mania that should potentially do the trick

They cannot afford to lose Rollins. I'm expecting Raw to poach AJ and Orton from SDL, but they still need all the star power they can get. I don't care which brand it is, someone better make Joe a world champ this year.

Well, Seth and Brock have weak lower regions. Guess that makes it a lumbar jacked match.
Hey, you only have to deal with me on this board. I have to live with myself 24/7.

With Roman being sick, Dean apparently having a foot out the door, and Seth being the last man of the Shield standing, we stand to see something we haven't seen in years.
If Seth gets injured after Dean leaves we'll have our first Shield-free period since their introduction 6 or 7 years ago. All three haven't been down at the same time once.

He'll be good.
He just needs to not wrestle anytime before the Lesnar match. Basically create the story that Rollins is studying Lesnar's matches, working in silence, getting ready with Lesnar's opponents (Ambrose, Balor, guys he's cool with) just to prepare but the reality is he's healing his back. Once he shows up at WM he'll be good to go. Hypothetically say his back's really hurt after the WM match you can just have him take some time off and say "Rollins is banged up after the match but he's still champion" and run with it. Becky will be running Raw at that point so hypothetically having a lead champion gone won't hurt too bad.
I'm completely ok with lead guys not wrestling every single week. Having them take some weeks away from the ring is always nice and it adds to the spectacle of said wrestlers. They really look like superstars when you see that they're having a match that week.
