I can't believe they didn't include Pat Patterson winning the Intercontinental title.
I joke but why is there literally no belt older than the NXT one in there? Like, I get leaving out the Raw Tag titles, but you couldn't work in some footage of Michelle McCool winning the Diva's one or Bulldog winning the European title or something?

This does seem like they just picked the 10 most recent titles, picked a random order and went with it. What the hell kind of list is that?

Seriously, the European Championship Final is one of the most underrated title matches in company history.

I know it went up in smoke but RVD crowning as inaugural WWECW champion was memorable

The Universal title match was a fairly crappy match, the guy who won was seriously hurt and had to vacate it the next day, it's spent most of it's existence on a guy who never shows up so it's barely been part of the show, oh and it looks like total crap. A child's toy.
I can see why they made it number one, because it's supposed to be the top belt, but honestly if they just had Rollins pin Brock at Mania and come out the next day with the Big Gold belt would anyone really miss the Universal belt?

I'm sure General Mills would miss their royalty checks for the Fruit Roll-Up Championship.

It seems it is just all modern WWE titles, not really an All Time top 10.
And mostly base on which championships matter more.

Yeah, I think people would wonder where like the World title is then... and the World title has the same problem as the IC Belt... Buddy Rogers just kinda had it... since he was the champion when Vince Sr. broke off with the NWA, and the explained it as winning a tournament in Brazil. not to mention the lack of footage of them...

To be fair, Rodgers wouldn't be much of an inagural champion. It's the guy who beat him that actually did the important stuff in the title's early history.

Sometimes I wonder how much oversight the online content people have when it comes to if anyone in the office is telling them to focus only on the recent stuff and emphasize it, or if this just got handed to someone who was either rushed or didn't care much about the back catalogue/wasn't too familiar with any of it. Like I doubt Vince is giving specific video orders, but is whoever's managing this section as obsessed with branding and pushing narratives? Ever since the halcyon days of "every positive WWE.com top 10 included Triple H if it was even nominally relevant" I've wondered that.

Very true, but you'd think they might use these things to showcase a mixture of newer and older stuff, since they have a whole network of archive footage. "hey this new stuff is cool, but so was this other stuff you can check out if you sign up to our service"

I just love how the Raw tag titles still have the 2002 SD Smackdown tag titles lineage because Primo and Carlito (SD champs) won the Tag Title Unification Match again Miz and Morrison (Raw Champs)..on the DVD exclusive preshow of Wrestlemania 25.

I found it funny how they put Charlotte's Raw Women's Championship win above Becky's. I mean I can see why they'd do it, it makes sense but at the same time that really fits their current narrative of Charlotte being the franchise player and Becky still being behind her. That's great.

I can’t believe they deactivated the huge 50 year lineage of the World Tag Team titles, just to use the 2002 lineage that starts with Chris Benoit as an inaugural champion. It was so blatantly the wrong move that’s its mystifying that they did that.

Well, Vince being the petty man that he is, holds a grudge against all the guys who held the World Tag Team titles like Demolition so he wants to stick it against them and erase their lineage
