What your favorite WCW Cruiserweight matches....I am putting together a Cruiserweight disc and was curious to see what your favorite matches were. I can watch the WCW Cruiserweight division all day long and never get bored.

Anything with Ultimo Dragon and Rey is pretty gold. Malenko matches are great for the variety, since he wrestled so differently than the others.

Any of the Juvi vs. Kidman series for the CW belt in early 1999 are top of the pops for me.

Not the best match, but absolutely my favorite: Juvi vs. Jericho title vs. mask on Superbrawl VIII. Loved the set, loved Jericho's heel work, loved the match, great ending.

I couldn't even tell you who all was in it, but they had a gauntlet match in the last half-year that I thought was just amazing.

Mysterio vs. Malenko at Bash 96 is essential because it made Mysterio a star and the Cruiserweight division into a staple of the company in just one night.

Mysterio vs. Malenko at Bash 96 is essential because it made Mysterio a star and the Cruiserweight division into a staple of the company in just one night. Really all Malenko vs Mysterio matches. Those 2 had incredible chemistry. I'm really going to be the first to say it, Mysterio vs Eddie at Halloween Havoc 1997.

Since all the good ones were taken, I'll go with one that is a bit of a hidden gem to me:
Dean Malenko Vs Disco Inferno (Bash at the Beach 96) I like the story of the match where Disco realizes that if he drops the show boating and the dancing he might actually have a chance. He still loses of course, but it was kind of interesting to see that kind of subtle character development in a cruiserweight match.

Mysterio vs Blitzkreig, in two rings. It was a War Games show and they took advantage of the two rings in a few spots.

I remember a Mysterio vs. Blitzkrieg match that was fun... one of the commentators said it was the first match they'd seen where Rey had to slow the opponent down.
And you know, there were a couple of Three Count vs. Jung Dragons matches that are worth revisiting.
