I’ve been out of it for a while, but decided to watch tonight after reading how Kofi did on Smackdown. The bastards got me back in. I was standing out of excitement of my boy Kofi getting that moment. I’m all in for Wrestlemania if he gets the shot then. They will just add Orton and make it a triple threat  . I will be impressed and pleased if they give Kofi the one on one victory |

Tbh, it needs to main event WM. Kofi winning the title at WM would be a very memorable moment(like when DB won in 2014). Nah Becky (and to extent Ronda) are still bigger stars for mania. Not to disrespect Kofi but he as of right now is not at Becky's position. |

How aren't they being flexible tho when they put in this spot when it was supposed to be Ali Because its still the exact same spot? that is the definition of inflexible. They should have given Kofi the surprise win,just roll with the crowd. No, they just got the ultimate assurance that the crowd was ready for Kofi tonight
If he's going to win it, let him win it at Mania for a true "Mania moment"
On paper him and DB are 1-1 right now and have a grudge match to settle it

Bryan-Santino 2.0. Nothing new. For people saying "Santino", Kofi has been potrayed way more capable than Santino. Still WWE does that a lot,they build someone the crowd into to just not given then a real win,just make then look good in defeat over and over. Not saying isnt possible ,but its also nothing WWE has show interest in doing. |

I was never on the Kofi for WWE Champ bandwagon but i'm changing my mind
Agreed. As the match went on I started thinking he at deserved the chance he's never gotten but now I want him to win the damn thing in the biggest possible scenario possible. Right. I'm fully behind him being champ
It will most likely be a transitional reign but he deserves it for all the hard work he's put in and probably putting on the best performance of his long and great career

Yeh that would be flexible. I dont think you need to save everything for mania. Tonight was a great night to have then win but it was not their plan,they werent flexible,testin waters or not. |

This is also why many of us have been wanting the New Day to do their own thing as singles while staying together as a stable. All three are too talented to be stuck going after the tag titles, especially with other teams waiting in the wings.

Yourself said this is the Ali Spot,exact spot he had. And he got really big, really over,so push it,that is being flexiblE. If he wins at WM that will also being flexible,that is why I dont expect it to happen. |

If I can play "I've seen too many of this company's decisions in the last 5 years Advocate" for a second....I just don't see Kofi, Rollins and Becky all walking out of Mania victorious. Something will make the board rage that night. It's possible but I think it'll be fine, let's just look at the titles. I only see Kofi, Rollins and Becky winning titles at WM. All the rest are retaining by current or (in Truth's case) new champions. |

I'd probably book it to have Kofi get a shot on SmackDown, get screwed over by Harper or whoever joining the group, then have a six-man tag at Fastlane where if New Day wins Kofi gets a rematch at Mania. It's the perfect way to pace the story and it'd allow for working in the element of Big E and Xavier doing everything they can to make sure Kofi gets the belt into the actual narrative.

Becky, Rollins and Kofi all walking out as champions would make one of the best feel good Manias ever, this side of 30. I’d love for it to happen, but I can’t say I’m optimistic.

Kofi should’ve won tonight. I’d want Kofi/Bryan at Mania to happen but I no longer believe WWE can pull off a straightforward, feel good story like that, so they should’ve struck while the iron’s hot.
