Ever since debuting the Hidden Blade elbow against Ibushi and teasing in a deleted tweet about being the CHAOS mole I've wanted it to happen. It hit me that when Ibushi was stretchered out Will didn't bother to check on him or at least give an acknowledgement. He would be the right-hand man to White in the IC/US title scenes where Ospreay would have his best roster of opponents. Heel Ospreay against Naito, Ishii, Goto, SANADA, EVIL, and Juice offers far more for him to sink his teeth into than as a tweener/dark face against pretty much only Suzuki, ZSJ and White. Also plays into Okada being tormented by White if Ospreay decides he can get further ahead with his fellow Gaijin.

It'd make sense. It'd also give the Bullet Club another reason to not try to make singles match Tama Tonga a thing, and I'd be thankful for that.
Honestly, though, would maybe be fun if Goto was the one to desert after them making it seem like it'd be Ospreay. He has no reason to be loyal to Okada anymore, really, and it would hopefully pull him out of his slump.

Just let them start their own stable. Get Jay White the f*** away from Bullet Club.
They're dragging down his stock.
He has to "main event" shows with Bad Luck Fale.
C'mon....
I've wanted Ospreay to join up with White ever since he left Ibushi laying dazed on the mat without even checking on him.
His dream match, and he just walks off.

I'd keep my eyes peeled during the Honor Rising shows; given the way Ospreay/Goto/Ishii were booked as a team at New Years Dash, given RPG3K's behavior toward LIJ at New Beginning, and given the recent mention in the last "History of CHAOS" video of how aggressive some of the guys have been of late, I have to think there'll be some hints dropped about the upcoming directions a lot of the non-Okada/YOSHI/Yano CHAOS guys are going to take.

Just let them start their own stable. Get Jay White the f*** away from Bullet Club. They're dragging down his stock. He has to "main event" shows with Bad Luck Fale. I wasn't hot on the team up when it happened but they've been entertaining. The stable itself is legitimized within kayfabe with White as champ but I agree they need a workhorse to make their matches more interesting. Ospreay would not only fill that void but IMO give them a boost in interest from western audiences interested to see what he's like as a heel. It would also allow for White/Ospreay main event team-ups. Imagine them against Okada/Tanahashi or Golden Lovers. The latter would be amazing since they each have wins against Omega/Ibushi. |
