I'm not sure but according to what Mike Johnson said, I'm going to assume some of the talents worried about their spots are, well, Sanity. These dudes ain't done shit and yet we've got 4 amazing stars rolling in. Same with No Way Jose, like, there's no need for em. They need to slide back to NXT. Honestly they probably should raise the pay scale for NXT to not be an outright demotion, raise it to two hours, and start treating it as an outright third brand. It'd make shuffling people back and forth a lot easier and really help elevate the idea of the Network as something to use for shows besides PPVs.

I just peeked into the thread to see if things were going any better tonight and wait are they doing this NXT thing for a second night in a row with the same dudes? Christ, is the crowd at least a bit more receptive to them? They even announced them pretty much the same way with Shane announcing them at the start sans powerpoint but this feels better with the hotter crowd.

This just further emphasizes that Smackdown still manages to be leaps and bounds better than Raw. Also helps that this crowd is really hot compared to the clinically dead crowd last night.

With Joe bragging in Renee's face before the "kill". ASUKA'S BACK! *Dean walks up to Joe, slaps him in the face* "Bitch." *rolls eyes*

So WWE saying the main roster sucks. Ok. Or maybe NOBODY sucks and someone can just be the better team on the night? They are 5-0 possibly going 6-0 over two nights, thatβs not being just the better team on a night. SORRY

I really wish we got Ricochet ve Rey Mysterio Like come on it's RIGHT THERE. That's a PPV match, not a throw away SDL Road To Fastlane match.

He didnβt look hobbled or concerned after the fact... I know adrenaline and keeping a straight face and such, but I think he escaped without a serious injury. Just imagine if something happened with it, man. I'll also give WWE props for at least TRYING to change things around this past month. With the Kofi stuff, these NXT guys, I'm seeing some slight changes. I'm not sure if it'll stick, I'm not sure if it'll be good but man it's something. Ciampa having to vacate his beloved Goldy would be his ultimate comeuppance tho.

They always refer to it as a third brand, they need to capitalize on that because there's some good that can be done with it. If they make it 2 hours, send some main roster guys there for a bit (Ziggler would do great) then yeah, they can elevate it.

It may not be this soft change, and Iβm a bit annoyed that the no automatic rematch thing has been retconned twice, but theyβre certainly trying and itβs showing

Thanks for the responses guys, glad things are playing a bit better at least. I guess in the face of that all I can say is "Something something NXT is still bad and fake something something wrestling is fake".

I mean, sure you might need a parent's warning, but it would make for interesting TV.

I'm really curious to know why the SDL creative process seems to be a lot different from Raw's. I know Vince is hands on with both shows, but does he just not care AS much on Tuesdays?
