Lotsaluck, a 70s sitcom starring Dom DeLuise I've been watching re-runs of this on Antenna TV and it's pretty funny.

And the DVD commentary is great, I just rewatched them all not too long ago Love the commentary on the Elevator scene on how that basically happened to them. Also the rant about the soda can and the Animators.

Doctor Who has had a few spinoffs over the years. One was planned for the classic robot dog K9 that was a companion to the 4th Doctor in the 70s and was appearing once again with the 10th Doctor in 2006. Plans fell through but the series ended up getting made in Australia a few years later and K9 the complete series got a US DVD release a few years after that. There was a single season almost ten years ago and they’ve been in talks to make another one ever since. Just last fall they decided to work on a movie for K9 instead. Most fans know about K9 appearing in a few seasons of the Doctor Who spinoff The Sarah Jane Adventures but hardly any of them know about K9’s Australian series.

That show aired in syndication for close to a decade. It was still airing,2 episodes at 6am,locally as late as 2010. Square Pegs got one season. Looks like it hit DVD the first time cause of SJP becoming popular thanks to that horrid Sex in the City show. What's odd is Square Pegs got another DVD release in the past 8 years.

Most of the truly obscure animated series I can think of don't have any DVD releases at all.
Warner Archive is your best bet for obscure ones - "the Roman Holidays" comes to mind.

Not......technically a complete series, but kinda-sorta close: back when Dane Cook first became popular, someone released a DVD of 4 or 5 failed pilots of TV shows that were never picked up that he'd starred in.
I have this feeling that something similar was done with Dave Chappelle too.

I have this feeling that something similar was done with Dave Chappelle too. I think Chapelle just had the aforementioned Buddies Complete Series DVD release though I could be wrong. It was even promoted on t cover as “The Show Dave Chapelle Doesn’t Want You To See”’or something like that. They left out the, “...Because it’s crap!” That should have ended that sentence. Also, that Dane Cook DVD sounds like it would be good for the prime time programming before The Tonight Show with Brian Williams (someone once here suggested). In Hell of course.
