Sorry if these issues have been discussed before but seriously does anyone else hate Ricochet's 630 finish? I guess I didn't realize just how much it bothers me and makes me cringe until he came to the main roster and this is a guy I have watched for a long time on the indy scene. I do not care how many times he has done it; 1 wrong move and hes in a wheel chair. Also it is not a sustainable finisher. To me the best finishers have always been the ones that you can hit out of nowhere and that you identify with a wrestler....
Next issue is like Apollo he is very weak on the mic and I hope he improves dramatically like PAC/Neville did or it will be difficult to take him seriously.
Lastly on my soap box agenda is that Leo and Ricochet's attire down to the circle logos on both the tights and kneepads look like they were edits made to AJ Styles' attire on a WWE 2K game and that drives me crazy as well...

I can earnestly say I disagree with nearly every point you've made

I kinda agree with the point of the finisher. I think the exact same thing every time he does it.I just wonder how easy it would be to f*** it up and break your neck.
But "top rope finisher with momentum" has always worked.Justin Gabriel at the Nexus was an amazing exclamation point,it give the beatdowns an extra OOMPH. And Neville top rope finisher was so popular it is the most protect finisher in WWE recent history.
The worst part is,he doesnt need to do it,he can be just as impressive without it.

I like the finisher fine, but it does feel like he ought to be one of those guys like AJ who has a few finishers to use at any given time.

I love the 630 and I think he has done it enough times and dude has incredible timing in just about everything he does that screwing it up seems almost impossible. But what sucks about it in WWE...is that WWE's use of the same shitty static camera angle for it is gonna burn through the novelty. THIS is how it should be filmed as it perfectly ties to my first point it shows that how timed perfectly he has this move down that screwing it up is almost impossible for him to do. I do agree however that no way in hell does he last doing it on WWE's schedule every single gawd damn show.

I’m less concerned about the 630 than with his dives where he always lands on his feet, it looks cool but eventually his knees are going to die a death.

Ricochet also has a secondary finisher, "Vertigo"... which is Chris Sabin's cradle shock. he literally won with it last week (so it's not just an old indy finisher or anything)

He should do that Northern Lights Suplex/Deadlift Brainbuster combo more often.

I think he's dope and I've got no problems with him. I'm sure any issues with him have already been talked about with management backstage given surely they wouldn't want him being in a casket.

He has a superbly named Go To Sleep variation called the Benadryller. And yeah, really bad babyface promo. When he would close PWG shows and cut the "thank you for coming out" promo he always came off as insincere/cocky; he might be better as a heel in the long run.

Another thing that bothered me with him on the same show as Black is the flip into the ropes and taunt...I used to love it but seeing black do his and sit down then later seeing Ric do his took all the fun out of it...
Believe me the man is absolutely amazing and I am not trying to put him down I just don't think he is ready for WWE style yet

Seeing the 630 in slo-mo on SDL, it really surprised me how close he gets to basically pile-driving himself into his opponent's torso and with the differences in most indie rings and the WWE ring, I can get being worried.
I actually think he'll be better off with main roster promos thanks to his time in LU, the experience with the scripting being the benefit. He's just got to get the nerves of cutting them gone.

Ricochet’s health and safety isn’t our responsibility. We’re fans. Just enjoy it.

I just came here to say that he is a poor mans Ospreay.
This still makes him better than everyone there so stay calm.

I trust him to do the 630 but it always looks precariously close like he JUST gets there in time. It is pretty dangerous though I guess.

The funny part is that this is his safe finisher compared to when he was doing the double moonsault ages ago
