Wasn't sure how to go about titling this but:
Everyone was disappointed when Seth faced Dean recently and they had a regular wrestling match after a burning hot lead up into the match where they should have wanted to kill each other. I'm watching whatculture's 10 worst WWE Wrestlemania World Title Storylines and Simon says the same about HHH vs Orton.
I am wondering what matches delivered when it came to this? What are the best examples?
Rock and Austin keeps coming to mind but anything else? Maybe it wasn't just vs the Rock but when the bell rang Austin would open a can of whoop ass.
Gargano vs Champa? Unsanctioned match?
I'm talking bell rings and it gets nasty really quick or even before the bell rings, because the two hate each other.

Well it wasn't a hot feud for me, but Brock vs. Goldberg at WM 33 was perfectly booked. Just pure carnage from bell to bell.
Becky vs. Charlotte at Evolution.

It's funny how Berg and Brock having no stamina resulted in a brutal good time of a match. You just know that if they *could* have physically gone longer we would've gotten a sludgefest with plenty of 'boring' chants.

Montreal Everything before the screwjob was a massive brawl. Often forgotten I think is how damn good that match was before the screwjob.

IIRC, Michaels/Jericho at Unforgiven was basically this. I remember it being a pretty badass match that really fit the tone of their feud to that point. Well it wasn't a hot feud for me, but Brock vs. Goldberg at WM 33 was perfectly booked. Just pure carnage from bell to bell. That match is the perfect antithesis of their garbage WM 20 one.

Piper/Orndorff at SNME. It lacks a finish (unless you count Piper running to the back and locking himself in his dressing room a finish) but they just go all out brawling, almost proto-ECW/Attitude era style.

Lots of Reigns feuds.
Reigns Vs. Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman, especially.

HHH vs Flair had 2 awesome matches. The build wasn't amazing, it was pretty much HHH beating up Ric Flair for the sake of turning heel, but the matches really sold the betrayal and Ric Flair going over in the first match worked extremely well.

Saw them face eachother at a house show in Stockholm. Even though they were in house show mode and only went for about 5 minuted they did nothing but brawl. Really made their match stand out
