Michaels vs Undertaker at Ground Zero. Before the match is about to start Undertaker knocks out the ref and proceeds to beat the piss out of Michaels for the next few minutes. Eventually a new ref is down and starts the match properly. The match goes a few minutes before dx interfere and it all ends in a big schmoz. Sets up perfectly their Hell in a Cell match.

New Day vs Usos wasn't a super long feud or anything, but the story of New Day proving themselves to be more than a joke by turning into psychopaths in that Cell match was perfect.

That Cell match was the best one in the last 10-12 years anyway I almost agree with you, but I think Banks/Charlotte is a better match (with a letdown finish) and I have a soft spot for Hardy/Orton simply because it was vastly better than it really should have been.

First thing that comes to mind is always Austin.
You know what I really miss?
A feud where two guys really hate each other and can't wait to beat the crap out of each other, so they immediately start throwing punches before the bell rings.
I might be wrong but during HHH/Orton blood feud in 2009, I'm pretty sure they stood on opposite corners of the ring having their names read by the ring announcer. I wanted them to jump each other straight away like Stone Cold would do.

Nese was too angry to even count his abs during his entrance and Noam couldn't wait for the opening bell, so he knocked Nese off the apron as he was about to get in the ring. lol

Kurt Angle vs. Summerslam 2001-it was in the middle of their blood feud and they didn't do the whole "big introductions", Angle went to get Austin the aisleway and it turned into a bloody brawl, one of my favorite matches even if it wasn't a great finish.

First thought was Triple H vs Cactus Jack at Royal Rumble 2000. Even with such a hot build ("I think you know the guy!") it delivered the brutality it promised, and more besides.
