I mean if the longest reigning ever IC champ doesn’t deserve to go in...... Plus I don’t understand why people judge it against other HoFs like sporting ones etc. I mean wrestling is a pre-determined sport so why wouldn’t you judge it based on who was the most memorable/entertaining Let's not act like there aren't "got in because they were friends with the people in charge" entries in "Official Sports"

Wrestling is fake. It's a "thank you for working for us". Nothing more.
Plus, if the criteria was "have to be as big or close to as big as Hogan", they'd be like...5 people in it.
Come on my guy.

I'm not sure I'm comfortable with a post that contains failing to take the HOF seriously any more but considering Carlito worthy of inclusion in it. God I f***ing hate that guy. The WWE Hall of Fame is pretty much exactly as legit as most other Halls of Fame or even the Oscars. They're basically meaningless, and have any kind of prestige simply because you're told that they do. You know the other hall of fames have members and journalists casting votes right? This is a carny senile man just picking guys at random. It definitely isn't random, just based on totally irrational logic. I'll admit that I'm probably being unfair on the sports HOFs at least, because they are far more legit. But, and this is probably only my own opinion, anything that involves the people casting votes on something opinion-based about a sport is inherently ludicrous. It's sport. You have hard numbers and records and shit. Any time you're involving opinions in shit like this, especially with a sport, you're immediately devaluing it.

People have criticized Koko B. Ware getting in because he was a jobber. Um, if I recall, wasn't he more like a "jobber to the stars" and wasn't he over as well? I mean we're not talking about Superstars/Wrestling Challenge-level jobbers here.

Over as hell in his WWF run and was over even before that in Mid-South where he got the Birdman gimmick to begin with and christ he was over even before that as Sweet Brown Sugar. Ware isn't some random jobber. He has a resume of success.

It can't be that poorly articulated if you can tell how badly developed it is. It's part of why I watch fake sport and not real sport.

I mean... who has been inducted that doesn’t deserve it? There aren’t a lot of bad inductions I don’t think.

Drew Carey is the only one that I would actually say doesn't deserve it, even with lower expectations for the celebrity wing. Everyone else has made some contribution to the bottom line in some fashion, or has shortened their life span for the sake of the wrestling business.

Carey was at least willing to eliminate himself from the Royal Rumble. He could have moved the wrong way and hurt himself, so I could at least give him some credit for that. Kid Rock, however, is a head-scratcher of a celeb HOF pic. If a musician had to go in, why not Aretha Franklin instead for her performance at Wrestlemania 3? Or, better yet, Cyndi Lauper?

A few people like saying James Dudley... but it seems to stem from them not knowing who he was and simply going from the legend that he was only Vince Sr's limo driver.

He helped Vince Sr get shit handled and run stuff if I remember correctly. One of those behind the scenes "we couldn't have got this all done without him" sorts.

Yeah, he did a bunch of things including being the the first African American in charge of a major arena in professional wrestling.

Chris and Mike Von Erich were inducted the same year as Koko, yet Koko gets all of the heat for being not worthy.
