“I lost my mind that day. Eddie walked up to me that day, and Eddie was one of the greatest ever, he came up to me because the move was super over and he knows I’m going over. ‘Hey D, you ever think about doing a Diamond Cutter out of a powerbomb?’ I was like, ‘How the hell would we even do that?’ He goes, ‘Boost me up on your shoulders.’ So, I roll him up on my shoulders. He goes, ‘Alright. boost me.’ So, all I did was throw him and he spun, and he slid down my back and landed on the ground. I went, ‘Wow, Eddie, if we could time that.’ I only did that once.” Video of the Cutter on Eddie: youtu.be/keMz1rAUlIcSource: NotSam Podcast

At first, I was thinking, "That's cool and all, but, the best?", given it didn't look much different from a Yokosuka Cutter. (Chuck Palumbo called it the "Full Throttle", Lashley and Braun have used it as a finisher, as well.)
The slow motion definitely shows there is more complexity than that, though, since I've never seen someone move to lock on the cutter like that mid-fall, they just flip the person over, typically, which is cool and all, but this is more impactful looking and impressive.

It was cool and all, but the one on Goldberg (you know which one) was the best.

It was cool and all, but the one on Goldberg (you know which one) was the best. Or the one where Kidman is dangling from the roof of the cage, drops and Page hits the cutter.

Yup, this is still my all-time favorite Diamond Cutter. I remember vividly watching it live.

For me my favorite was when he did it on Savage during their amazing Spring Stampede match. The pacing, booking, and storytelling of the match presented the reality that Page was going to lose and when he unexpectedly hit the cutter on Savage it was absolutely beautiful.

The one on Goldberg is the best and deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
